Obama White House Pays Women Less Than Men

President Obama has been outspoken in his criticism of “paycheck discrimination” that has women earning less than men for the same jobs, but a new report shows that female employees in the Obama White House make considerably less than their male colleagues.

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, while the median salary for male employees was $71,000 — about 18 percent more, the Washington Free Beacon reports.

“Women are Obama’s base, and they don’t seem to have enough people who look like the base inside of their own inner circle,” former Bill Clinton press secretary Dee Dee Meyers told the New York Times.

Obama paid women less than men on the campaign trail in 2008.   This is the same president whom women in the white house said Obama never invites women to play basket ball or golf or anything that the Obama Boys Club engages in.  So there is a “War on Women” after all.  DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz has said so more than once!  Yes she has!

According to the 2011 annual report on White House staff, female employees earned a median annual salary of $60,000, which was about 18 percent less than the median salary for male employees ($71,000).

Calculating the median salary for each gender required some assumptions to be made based on the employee names. When unclear, every effort was taken to determine the appropriate gender.

The Obama campaign on Wednesday lashed out at presumptive GOP nominee Mitt Romney for his failure to  immediately endorse the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Restoration Act, a controversial law enacted in 2009 that made it easier to file discrimination lawsuits.

President Obama has frequently criticized the gender pay gap, such as the one that exists in White House.

“Paycheck discrimination hurts families who lose out on badly needed income,” he said in a July 2010 statement. “And with so many families depending on women’s wages, it hurts the American economy as a whole.”

It is not known whether any female employees at the White House have filed lawsuits under the Ledbetter Act.

The president and his Democratic allies have accused Republicans of waging a “war on women,” and have touted themselves as champions of female equality. Obama’s rhetoric, however, has not always been supported by his actions.

In a 2011 article titled “The White House Boys’ Club: President Obama Has a Woman Problem,” TIME magazine’s Amy Sullivan detailed the president’s fondness for male-dominated environments.

started because the lefty honchos of the anti-Vietnam War movement were using young women as secretaries, gofers, coffee makers, dish washers, clothes washers, and not-always-enthusiastic sex partners.

The lefty men haven’t changed at all and their “work” on behalf of women is all to use women (contraceptives are a woman’s worry) and the mistakes can be aborted away, a major reason abortion is so necessary to the left.

Ted Kennedy and Bill CLinton are the perfect lefty pols who supported all women’s “rights” while themselves personally practicing exploitation, rape, and murder.

But I do not expect lefty women to wise up any faster than blacks are because they get to bask in the power of lefty men.

of democrats and liberals. A woman can no longer support the Right to Life and be a feminist according to the Marxa-Feminst lefties. Governor Sarah Palin and Congresswoman Bachman are 2 prime examples where petty judgements and hate interfere with sound judgement and the “united” that most Americans share.

they still seek to push another fair pay bill when only 5% of women are underpaid.

The real problem with the bill is it violates the 4th Amendment rights of workers and employers requiring them to disclose pay to the government and increases costs requiring mandated reporting. companies spend enough on regulations, the economy is down.

We have an annual and 10 year census plus the EEOC exists to aid underpaid women. Maybe women working for Obama and in congress should file complaints. Framing the issue this way is red meat for governor Romney.
