“Don’t Tread On Me”

Those were the words of Kenneth Gladney.  These words however were spoken by his lawyer since Gladney was under heavy medication as a result of the beating he took at the hands of SEIU thugs.

If you can’t see the video it is of a speech by St. Louis Tea Party’s Bill Hennessey and the attorney for Kenneth Gladney.

I’m hoping for a transcript of the prepared statement soon.

You can see some of the pictures of the “mob” here. Do these people look dangerous?

Full photostream here.

Best line in the report from

    http://www.fox2now.com/ktvi-tea-party-protest-apology-080809,0,4533560.story

Must take longer than 24 hrs for them to orginize an astroturf protest, ha ha.

In the second or third window from the left on the second floor a video camera was spotted. The camera was essentially being held by the window. When people started shouting (which I think you can hear at one point on the video – a lady keeps yelling “cowards”) the camera is quickly pulled out of the window and the window closes.

My guess is that they had set up the camera to film across the street. Just behind where I was in the video, three (or four) kids showed up to counter protest. It was kind of cute really. They hadn’t thought beyond the Talking Points™.

The really frustrating thing was to see the Post-Dispatch reporter that was there go out of his way to make sure he got full and complete statements from all of the counter-protesters. But, then again, it is the P-D. I don’t expect anything else.

        I like those odds.
Thanks for the info and I’m sure that video they made had more to do with getting those filming the the ?Don?t Tread On Me? protest rather than their four clowns. I’d also put a pound of my own flesh on it, that said recording has already made its way to flag@whitehouse.gov.

if they were sending the video to the White House, I guess I forgot to wave hello.

    Check out the video clip.

Kudos to the St Louis Post Dispatch for posting that clip. I’m guessing that the employees who decided to run that clip won’t be working for a major market newspaper or TV station anytime soon. I’ll bet they’re marked people.

Where’s the ACLU? Where’s Sharpton and Jackson? Where’s Obama?

I guess a white police officer peaceably detaining a Harvard professor warrants a national discussion, but a mob style beatdown of a citizen exercising his First Amendment right receives deafening silence.

that this pic comes via Gateway Pundit. Mine only had the ACLU chair in it.

    I can clearly hear this:

“You attacked that guy for nothing!”

Then, not so clearly, from the white guy in a blue “health care” shirt who is shown in the beginning of the video having an altercation with Kenneth:

“We didn’t attack him for nothing! He hit is a damn minister, idiot!”

“Just the two of you guys attacked him!”

Again from white guy in blue: ” a minister!”

A bit later you hear the same voice that was from the white guy in blue say “He attacked a minister!”

    ——————–

At the beginning of the video it shows a black man in a blue shirt on the ground. A white guy in street clothes is standing very close to him, and backs up and is nearly on top of him when the white guy in the blue shirt mentioned above takes Kenneth to the ground.

When the black guy in the blue shirt gets up, he is holding onto his shoulder, walking slowly, and not being aggressive at that time. He does come close to Kenneth and you can hear Kenneth saying “Why did you hit my “.

Kenneth later approaches the person filming the video saying a black guy attacked him, and said he was just selling his flags.

If the black guy that was on the ground in the SEIU shirt at the beginning of the video is the one who Kenneth said attacked him, it looks like Kenneth gave as good as he got, at least to him, or someone else intervened.

… but who is the minister they keep talking about?

    • Moriah

      Quotes above here:

?We didn?t attack him for nothing! He hit [unintelligible word]. [unintelligble word] is a damn minister, idiot!?

?Just the two of you guys attacked him!?

      “[unintelligble word] a minister!?

And sorry for the curse in the above, but I was trying to quote accurately. If it had been a stronger expletive I would have censored it.

      • firedup

Is this the video you’re talking about:

        http://gatewaypundit.blogspot.com/2009/08/tea-party-protesters-attacked-1-man.html

There must be another video out there of the attack on Kenneth, because this one seems to be mostly the aftermath (though it starts with the one guy in the blue shirt on the ground), and it’s at best inconclusive as to what happened.

Who’s got a link to a better video?

And who is this alleged minister?

        Thanks.

    Beautiful.

I wonder if the Justice Department is investigating this incident as a potential hate crime, since Mr. Gladney is black and his SEIU attackers were hurling racial slurs. Think I’ll call the Attorney General’s office (202-353-1555) to find out.

  • Repair_Man_Jack

I know you changed your plans for the weekend. Those of us who have been trying to turn America’s latest detour into leftville around appreciate your dedication and hard work.

  • LISA BULLOCK-HOCK

I’m sure the Justice Department will get right on it. NOT!!! Obama’s union cronies will get away with this. Like they do everything else.

  • farstar99

How long before they do to this guy – the victim – what they did to Joe the Plumber?

How long before Americans do more than protest?

  • LISA BULLOCK-HOCK

I think it is really important for everyone to see that. The left does not like getting a dose of their own medicine. hippocrits!!!

Brilliant. This needs to keep up as the other side keep their thugocracy attacks up. Even if a hate crimes investigation began, our “we are a nation of cowards” AG would have it suspended.

Amazing. Lets see how this pans out.

I suppose the dopes never considered the possibility of front door, in your face, demonstrations.
And what happens if some one decides that prepared self defense is an option. Do these morons in the White House really want this? Can they think 24 hours ahead of where ever they are, can they see past their eyebrows?

  • redneck_hippie

    In Axelrod’s case, certainly not.
