We sure live in strange times when a school board finds The Declaration of Independence to be offensive….
However, the school district left untouched displays that included a 35 to 40 foot string of Tibetan prayer flags with images of Buddha; a poster with the lyrics from John Lennon’s anti-religion song “Imagine, ” which begins, Imagine there’s no Heaven; a poster with Hindu leader Mahatma Gandhi’s “7 Social Sins;” a poster of Muslim leader Malcolm X, and a poster of Buddhist leader Dalai Lama. 2). You have no doubt noticed that the Obama-belongs-to-a-gay-men’s-club post is gone. Actually, that’s inaccurate: it was a everybody-in-the-US-government-is-having-gay-sex-with-each-other post, at least according to one link. I refuse to be sorry for removing it.
3). I fully expect you not to notice 1), do it again, and be removed.
