To See Obama’s Vision For America, Watch Chavez Workers’ Paradise.

The shadows of failed communist states lie across millions of dead whose mute testimony will forever stain the fabric of the world. Devastation, murder and hunger are its tools. Lies and deceit are its hallmark. The shackles of penury and forced servitude its only legacy. It’s hard, even now that eighteen months have passed, to believe that Americans did not see through the sophomoric visions of sugarplum fairies that spewed from Barack Hussein Obama’s swiveling head.

Obama and Chavez

It was readily apparent that Barack Hussein was in deep water when he spoke extemporaneously. His handlers were very careful to limit his exposure to the public and the press. He was careful to stay on message most of the time. Still, those of us who looked past the carefully canned performances, that were more reminiscent of the glory days of the old Filmore West than a political party and populace in search of a presidential candidate, were able to garner much of Barack Hussein Obama’s real intention for the country.

Conservative writers were savaged for showing America just what and who Obama really was. We were called racist and told that we were obstructionists toward the Anointed One’s magical agenda, in which promises fell like blossoms and government largesse showered down from above. Most of the country figured out Barack Obama pretty quickly when we saw 800 billion dollars vanish, after watching the misappropriation of 700 billion dollars in TARP funds.

Watching Obama’s alter-ego down in Venezuela I got the definite impression that Obama was, if not jealous of what Hugo Chavez was able to do without the pesky interference of a Constitution and a Bill of Rights, at least eager to emulate brother Chavez here in this country. Chavez has destroyed the private sector in his country… as Obama is working hard to do here. Chavez has crippled the energy sector of Venezuela. Nation-wide power outages and brownouts are common, while Chavez breaks the backs of his people with massive taxation.

Now reports are coming out of Venezuela of food shortages and looming hunger. The army has been ordered to confiscate food stores to distribute ‘to the poor’ through special government stores, while 80,000 tons of foodstuffs lie rotting in Government warehouses. Stark testimony to this totalitarian government’s failure to deal with even the most basic issues.

Don’t kid yourselves… it could happen here! It might, if we don’t disavow ourselves of this wannabe dictator and all who espouse this pernicious philosophy of oppression and slavery.
This is Barack Hussein Obama’s vision for America… his communist vision.

Step by step, coopting and effectively expropriating private institutions. And then comes the stolen elections (and later, sham elections), economic collapse, silencing of dissent, and violent repression.

That’s why 2010 is so important, to stop the train before it breaks down legal and constitutional restraints.

will work in America, well Mr. Obama is in for a rude awakening.
53% of American’s bought the hope & change mantra, hook, line & sinker. Of course realizing that you voted for an idiot means nothing unless you get a chance to vote that idiot out. Obama is working
non-stop behind the scenes to consolidate power. Try as he may I think he will only get the illusion that he is in control. That is when it will get dangerous. Time for pushback. More people need to wake-up and realize that the democrats cannot have anymore chances. Everyone of them and including many republicans need to go.
Joe Barton was right: Obama is taking America on a shake-down cruise – it is time to dump Obama overboard……

We’ve got 435 individual races for the House and 33 (34?) individual Senate races. We’re facing the prospect of massively funds GOTV organizations and campaigns along with a number of corrupt state SOSs and tested vote fraud schemes – and a complicit media.

In other words, polls about Obama’s popularity mean nothing – the elections are going to be fought and won/lost in the trenches. We may have more people, but the other side has superior firepower (metaphorically speaking, this time around anyway) at present and the willingness to use it.

And if we don’t gain back at least one of the houses of congress, all bets are off.

and that Obama is not on the ballot will repress the black vote. The yutes don’t vote in mid-terms. I think the ongoing Great Recession and public disgust with the non-stimulus, bail-outs and union pension GM and Chrysler takeovers and the mtg forgiveness programs baked in a landslide for the GOP even before ObamaCare and the spill.

One thing we need to do now is give Obama some credit for finally getting somewhat up to speed on the spill and thx for the victims fund and concentrate now on stopping crisis-fostered higher energy costs, taxes and regs.

but it’s very difficult to beat an incumbent with “I’m not the other guy”.

Much will come down to brand identity and brand loyalty – where the Republican have to prove they have a better brand to overcome voter inertia (“stick with the devil your know”).

And given that the national Republican leadership is busy undermining that by playing from the same oldl playbook that got them trounded iin 2006 and 2008, it’s going to come down to the individual match-ups. And that’s much harder to predict.

Plus there are lots of events – national or international – that could tilt the board. Who for instance could have predicted the BP oil blowout? What other surprises – intended or unintended – await us in the next 4-1/2 months?

Esp analogous is 1982 when the GOP lost massive seats due to recession not yet being ended. (Moreover, the incumbent party nearly always loses seats even during recoveries)

The special elections since Obama took office also show that “the non-dem other guy” trend looks sustainable. I do think that future events could HURT Dems more, but no event is going to change the fact of the ongoing, unsolved recession.
