MEMBER DIARY

Um, MSNBC is *Totally* Losing It

I’m not really sure who this Dylan Ratigan is and I suspect that maybe 3 people — tops — watch his show. However, his behavior, whilst interviewing Mark Williams about Tea Parties, is indicative of how desperate MSNBC and many on the far left have become.

Just keep screeching “you want to kill black people. Racists! Nazis!” That’s working out really well for you so far, lefties!

Sigh. While I, at times, point and snicker at their foolishness and buffoonery, it also infuriates me. Not only because they are obviously using their typical tired and old, yet still cruel, Alinksy tactics, but also because they are sickeningly diminishing real acts of racism by their constant and vile claims of faux racism. If everything is racist, idiots, then nothing is.

Insanity in action below:

Are they still on the air?

  • Doc Holliday

the longer answer is he was a successful anchor at CNBC but decided he needed another (less conservative) venue to spew his true lefty beliefs. I guess it is kind of the Olbermann thing redux.

Ratigan and Olberman are twins, both are freaking big time losers with no one watching thier shows, HA-HA

  • aesthete

Communism, Marxism, Socialism, and the dictators who supported same in all rallies where some idiot commie pops up in a rally with the ol’ hammer and sickle, we must assume that they are 100% supportive of said ideologies and all of the deaths that resulted. Matches Dylan Ratigan’s standards, at any rate. Whatever the case, I have to praise the CGI present in this shot; you can barely see the hard-on that Dylan clearly had at imagining that his performance nearly matched Olbermann’s best moments.

He’s right about one thing, though: this showing is exactly what’s wrong with America.

      • Doc Holliday

and the producers just let our guy keep speaking. Then when he was done, the buffoon Ratigan “cut his mike” lol

btw, Ratigan said the Tea partiers want to “kill blacks, Jews, and WOMEN”! wow, even Hitler did not go that far.

        • treeofliberty

Seriously Rating is a big mouth screaming jerk who thinks volume and noise is substitute for rational discourse.

It’s interesting though how the Olbermann-types like to yell and shout down people within the cozy confines of a TV studio behind the camera…I wonder what would happen if they ever had the guts to go up to real people and scream accusations of “NAZI! RACIST! NAZI! right in their face like they do so boldly behind a camera.l

  • 6eorge Jetson

    wow

  • tngal

    Dearest Mark,
Please never attempt to try and engage this tree stump in intellectual discourse again. He’s a stump. That’s all he knows. While your tag indicates you “respond to extremism report” you are never going to be given a chance to respond. You will only be shouted over.
He’s barely a stump worthy of the lichen that will soon envelop him. Ah, would’st that there were actual meat to his argument! Then we would have the maggots feasting on (b)ratigan.
Hey, he’s just looking to up ratings. Talking over his “guest” is one way he thinks that’ll happen.

The only uninterrupted stretch of more than 4 seconds was a whopping 10 seconds.

Of course more people have probably seen the clip here than watch the actual show.

    • Beasley Beesmeal

      clip wins

  • fnemo

    HOW SWEET IT WILL BE.

    • houstoneagle

in the primo office spaces on Capitol Hill. 8 months to go.

      • edintexas

That line was used by Ronald Reagan in the campaign against Jimmy “Peanut” Carter, though of course it was Carter who was “recovery”.

        • houstoneagle

Perhaps he just assumed everyone knew.

    • bs61

To switching over to MSNBC for the Scott Brown win – to see a bunch of dumbstruck liberals lament was indeed, very sweet! :)

      • http://iowntheworld.com/blog/?author=19 Lori Ziganto

        It was schadenfreude-tastic!

  • alvin691

Is to switch to 24×7 hockey

    • bs61

But I’d hate to have to watch their channel!

      • 6eorge Jetson

Hockey on the screen; MSNBC political commentary on audio would surely draw more than the tens of viewers that MSNBC now commands.

  • qixlqatl

Wow, is anybody with a pulse too stupid to see through that?

  • Doc Holliday
  • mriggio

Does the network actually pay that man to insult guests? Does anybody actually watch such drivel? If so, why? The phrase ‘Get a life’ comes to mind…

  • tjexcite

MessNBC has become the distilled bile of the lefty blogs comments. worst of the worst with out the cursing. slime at the bottom of a scum pond. They read the dkos, DU, Crook and lier’s and Huffpuff and right their script to match the mood within.

  • Dan McLaughlin

    MSNBC: the new mimeograph.

  • houstoneagle

Chuck Todd > Savannah Guthrie > Morning Joe > Chrissy Matthews > Rachel Maddow > Ratigan > Olbermann

Love Chucky T. Savannah’s obviously liberal but fair (and sweet). Just when I start to really really like Joe S., he says something wacky and then I dont like him so much, but he’s usually pretty solid. Chris Matthews is a wingnut, but he’s a traditionalist, fair-minded wingnut, and that’s worth something. Rachel Maddow is hyper lib, and she has a very appealing demeanor that makes me really really like her–she’s actually the dangerous one of the bunch. I’d rank her higher but I give it to Chrissy on experience. And then there is a long, long, long distance over to the true lala land, where Ratigan and Olbermann reign supreme.

Note that there’s non-lala liberal land, and then there’s lala liberal land, in case you’re itching to disagree with me and lump them all in lala land.

    That is all. :-)

    • aesthete

      Thus it is correct :)

In all seriousness, I would swap Chris and Maddow, but the rest is spot on, nice job.

      • houstoneagle

I had fun with that post. I’m a conservative first and foremost, but the neutral political junkie in me likes me some MSNBC.

    • edintexas

“Chris Matthews is a wingnut, but he

      • houstoneagle

        not his emotional tingles LOL

My bologna has a first name, it’s M.S.N.B.C.
My bologna has a second name, it’s Morning J.O.E.
Oh, I love to watch him every day

      • tngal

Your lyrics are great but your length needs work. You still get a ribbon though. You two must be a riot on kareoka night.

        • houstoneagle

on most Thursday nights, come on down. LOL

  • http://www.voterubio2010.com nelsa

That was PURE insanity on the anchor’s part. Dare I say, “Out of contro!!?” Surely it was and will be recognized as such.

I really hope they will not address this issue with him and I hope he continues. Really!

It’s kinda fun watching the Left fall apart and all the while destroying their careers and congradulating each other with bogus medals and awards. Too damn fun!!!

PS-I would like for the comment section to provide larger print so that I can actually read what I type! :)

    • bs61

Now that is a brilliant idea!

    • Warrior
  • bcamran

I thought I couldn’t be offended anymore by MSNBC. I stand corrected. >.<

  • http://www.pmm.nl/philo/philo.htm#really roncdeweijze

“… and she was promoted to Anchor at NBC, does that make NBC racist etcetera?” – What a brilliant reply that was!

  • rangerwife

I am embarrassed for that guy. He didn’t let the other guy speak, cut him off at every turn, put words in his mouth, cut his mike, then declared that the man endorsed nazi’s and racists. Embarrassing and disgusting.

  • renny

but I guess that could be a good thing.

  • gailmarie

I have participated in many teaparty activities… You are misrepresenting us. We are not Racist or haters or want to see anyone dead…. No one. Esp.dead. Get it together man you look foolish not letting the guy talk. Do not know the one example out of millions of teaparty people you are using, but it will come back to haunt you. I feel sad for your children and grandchildren as we stand for freedoms won, so you can freely speak your bias.
May God Bless you as we pray and try to forgive your ignorance.

  • bs61

He should know better than to go on MSNBC! Ratigan goes off on everyone, and even had to apologize to one democratic Rep that he yelled at. He then said that he would be working on it – I guess he’s still working on it.

Back to Mark though – when has any Tea Party member been treated fairly when going on the far left shows? We’re not gonna turn one of them with common sense!

  • enoughalready

I mean really..what about the crazies on the left. What about the bloggers gleeful at the deteriorating condition of Tony Snow when he was dying of cancer; what about the treatment of Sarah Palin’s daughter and son with Down’s sydrome; what about the eco-terrorists on the left; what about the people who demonize Christians; those who accuse whites of intentionally polluting neighborhoods of color? These people are actually not “liberal” at all–unless you think as they do and believe as they do, they will attack and destroy you. They are truly the most ill-mannered and intolerant segment of society. They masquerade as well-spoken, well-educated people who just “know better” than the common peasants who think differently than they do. This host looked like the girl in the Exorcist before the green crap started shooting of her mouth. Why does this guy even have a show as a platform to spew his venom?

  • RINKER

It would have been much better if the guest answered “Absolutely not. We do not welcome anyone who has those views in our movement.”
Is it true that some people have those signs? The guest didn’t deny it, and that bothered me, too.

That said, that host is still a jerk.

    • edintexas

I know it is really difficult to listen to the rant, and then try to understand what the guest is trying to say, but if you listen real close starting at about 2:05, you will hear him say “The Answer is: No, we don’t embrace racism,” A little shorter version of what you wished him to say, but given the circumstances, a short statement is about all that could have been heard at that point.

    • houstoneagle
  • BA Cyclone

It is unhinged projection of racism.

I recently got pointed to an article in American Spectator by Robert Stacy McCain on this topic. It’s about the nutty comments made Rhode Island Sen. Whitehouse on 12/19/09, but the underlying analysis was intriguing, and I think very appropriate to the topic at hand.

…,AKA Dying Ratings, is just another loud-mouthed, opinionated blowhard like Keef Olbumerator. MSNBC’s full of them, both male and female.
