MN-SEN: Franken tries to steal the election again

Democrats have no shame

According to the AP, Joker Al Franken’s campaign tried to add votes to their tally that had already been disqualified. Fortunately, the Hennepin County Board of Elections shot them down. From the AP:

Minnesota’s largest county has declined a request from Al Franken’s Senate campaign to reconsider some disqualified absentee ballots. [...] Board members said the ballots could be dealt with during the upcoming recount.

These “votes” were from people whose signatures didn’t match or who were not registered or improperly registered.

Norm Coleman’s campaign issued a statement that cuts to the heart of the matter:

“The Al Franken campaign today tried to stuff new ballots into the ballot box in a brazen, last minute act of desperation. We have raised concerns repeatedly about these types of tactics by the Franken campaign. Today is further evidence of their intent to use whatever means necessary to counter the decision of the people of Minnesota. We applaud the actions of the Hennepin County Canvassing Board in rejecting this blatant, desperate act.”

The “desperation” point is key. The Franken campaign is running out of ways to steal the election. So they are flailing for lame mechanisms to do so.

They are afraid.

that there are some demos who don’t want this joker in.

That might keep them from repeating Washington state 2004.

I’ve said all along ACORN and Democrats next more above/beyond “Early Voting” use for fraud would soon be met with “Late Voting.” It is easier when they know exactly how many votes they need to Manufacture from Fraudulent registrations (will be amazing how many “Provisional” and other “Suspect” ballots will now show up and be “ruled/deemed” valid) or to “disqualify” valid votes on the Republican side.

Coleman lost the moment this went to a recount.

I can’t even be shocked by this stuff anymore. That must be what they are counting on.

This is the core of Democrats. They steal elections (and everything else).

Here’s what you get if Al steals his way—or is perceived to have stolen his way—into the Senate:

    1) Rest assured, we will do everything we can to make Senator Al Franken the face of the NEW Democratic Party. When people think “Democrat,” they’ll think Stuart Smalley? You don’t think we can do it? Two words: You Tube

    2) My my my, this whole fiasco is going to leave a nice taste in the mouths of Minnesotans, won’t it? I suspect Tim Pawlenty will be able to do quite a bit with this over the next few years. What a great party-building opportunity.

We’ll be able to talk for years about how good a guy Norm Coleman is, what great work he did in the Senate (e.g., spearheading Senate investigations into UN Oil-for-Food corruption)…and what a shame it is that Democrats chose to steal an election so he could be replaced in public service by Stuart Smalley.

Do you really think the MSM will cover for you on this one?

    3) And, just what will Al’s election get you? A filibuster-proof Senate majority? I don’t think so. Looks as if both GA and AK are going to send R Senators to Washington next year. That makes 42 GOP Senators without Norm Coleman—enough to filibuster the really, really bad stuff.

Food for thought, Chuck. If you do this, we’re going to spend lots of time painting you and your side as a bunch of really mean, nasty people.

Chuck, if I may say so, you can come off on TV as being really mean, condescending and nasty.

We stand ready to make the linkage, over and over again.

Do you really want Al that badly?

The Conservative Comeback to the Clinton election in 1992 began almost immediately – with the special election vistory of Paul Coverdell – and peaked with the 1994 Congressional elections.

This race and the Georgia Senate races are must wins. What can folks in the Blue State Hinterlands (Connecticut) do to help the cause in Minnesota?

Surely you jest. Here’s the deal: we have a lot of crows flying over every morning and evening now. If Al Franken is not sworn in as Norm Coleman’s replacement, I’ll kill and eat one of the crows. The Dems have gotten very bold with this stuff. They will steal this election, and they will do it brazenly. The R’s will watch in horror, but give up Coleman’s seat like chumps.

What the D’s learned from Gore’s loss in 2000 is that they weren’t brazen enough. They’ve stopped that practice.
