President Obama, maybe you could talk to your general while you are in Europe

But you are a busy guy ...

Tonight, President Barack Obama goes to Copenhagen to lobby for Chicago to get the Olympics. And incidentally, if he succeeds, Chicago real estate developers, like many of his donors, will get zillions in development contracts from the city. The Chicago Tribune’s John Kass noted that  Obama is “asking the IOC to make Mayor Richard Daley the king of Chicago for life.”

It turns out that today, his pick to lead our troops (and all of NATO) in Afghanistan, General Stanley McChrystal, will be in London giving a speech about how to win in Afghanistan. I guess McChrystal he is allowed to tell our allies how we can win, just not Congress or the White House.

Perhaps Obama could stop by London and listen to the speech or chat with his general? But perhaps not. According to Kass, Obama told the head of NATO that he doesn’t have the time to chat about NATO and Afghanistan:

“I’ve got so much to do here,” Obama told NATO Secretary-General Anders Rasmussen in the Oval Office on Tuesday. “So, I will sleep on the plane. I’ll land. I’ll speak. Then fly right back.”

          I’m going by instinct. I’d say he’s an earnest, young suicide troll who knows that Obama is stumbling badly and needs some help here. The next test is in his next comment. Let’s see if he can master “Reply to This”, or if he takes a potshot in another thread.

    The President seems to be paying attention to his call-outs by they crazy right-wing fringe. Fox News is reporting that Himself is having a meeting with General McChrystal on his flight back from the Copenhagen de Soleil.

      Obama – “Let’s rethink our position in the grand scheme and think of what it will do to our (my) short and long term goals”
      General – “We need more troops”
      Obama – “I don’t think more troops will meet our (my) short and long term goals”
      General – “We need more troops”
      Obama – “Time’s up – gotta jet home to attend to more pressing needs. Thank you for your time and input”
      General – “We need more troops”

    I’m glad I did’nt vote for him, I wonder if a Court- Marshale is in order? Can you do that to a President? Maybe not if hes an Imposter. Really who is this guy?
    Is any other Country building up their troops? Maybe they are getting ready to take Us out.Who are the bad guys any way? US? THEM? The definitions of so many things have changed. (a lie is not a lie, A tax is not a tax, no really, a racist is not a racist or may be they are.) Come on now did they send EVERYBODY memo’s, or should we have a tele-prompter. How does that work any way.

    ”I WON”, I AM the Comander in Chief. Now why would the “CIC” (CROOK IN CHARGE) need a General to advise him on how to proceed with a WAR?In a war, If you wait long enough you will have a winner and a looser, thats just how they work out, If they keep killing OUR BRAVE SOLDIERS, the “cic” wont have to make a decision. Must be lonely at the top. Maybe not. To many definitions have had their meanings changed. so really, I’m confused. Or has that changed too?

    As he said he would regarding foreign policy decisions, we should ignore the Taliban and hunt down Al Qaeda in Pakistan. In essence, just let Afghanistan float back to insurgency and Taliban rule.

      Well he lost. Chicago lost. I wonder Which Developers are are going to be looking for payback now? Somthing has to be torn down to get rebuilt. so maybe a crisis is a brewing.Why waist such power, you know ,lets make somthing happen.
      Where can I get the book -”I WON FOR DUMMIES” you know its going to be the next -BEST SELLER, I love the title by the way. Also, cuold we get SOLD OUT Tatooed instead of SOLD.
