Last year, we covered some of the problems in the counting of military absentee ballots in Virginia, as did others. This problem has not gone away. It has just moved. The day before election day 2008, the McCain campaign filed a complaint in the Eastern District of Virginia to force Virginia to count military absentee ballots that came in after election day. McCain lost Virginia by more | Read More »

Today, the Fairfax Times reports that Rokey Suleman still is not counting those military ballots we have been telling you about: “It kills me to not count those votes,” Suleman said. “As much as I hate the law, I can’t ignore it.” Rokey must know something we don’t know. And something that the State Board of Elections doesn’t know, because they have told him the | Read More »

Meet Fairfax Co. Registrar Rokey Suleman. He has decided to reject absentee ballots from American soldiers stationed overseas. In fact, some of the ballots he’s not counting are those from military personnel serving in Iraq and Afghanistan. Mr. Suleman is using a technicality to throw out hundreds of our brave soldier’s votes. Except that Marc Ambinder reports that the Suleman is getting the technicalities wrong. | Read More »
Caught: Illegal voter registration in VA and rubix cubes
By: Soren Dayton (Diary) | July 27th at 09:52 PM |
Warner Todd Huston just wrote about ACORN embezzling issues. Thankfully, we just gave a criminal organization another chunk of change in the Housing Bill. Allegedly, it was to push more people into subprime loans, which they have been doing for the last decade or so. Of course, that was a bad idea. Another big project of theirs is voter registration. Like so many voter-reg groups, | Read More »
