Californians CAN Elect a NEW CONSERVATIVE TO CONGRESS!

Visit my website: http://llphsecondrevolution.wordpress.com

Profile Picture

California is desperately in need of conservative congressmen and women. There are too many go-along, get-along RINOs from all across the country, but the California delegation is notorious for joining Democrats in passing terrible legislation.

One California representative who has followed conservative values is Conservative Hero Representative Tom McClintock (R). Rep. McClintock has endorsed Gregg Imus (http://www.imusforcongress.com/endorsements/tom-mcclintock-endorsement/).

Endorsements: Gregg Imus has also been endorsed by other conservative leaders from Herman Cain to Arizona State Senator Russell Pearce (author of SB 1070). He is the favorite of Tea Parties in California, claiming more than 5 endorsements of different tea parties across the district he is seeking to represent.

These endorsements have not been received or given for no reason. Gregg Imus is the best of the best. He highly opposes bailouts, ending energy subsidies, auditing the Federal Reserve, ending the capital gains and death taxes, and opposing government regulations. He is pro-life and pro-second amendment. He will be a strong Constitutional Conservative.

Please join me in supporting Gregg Imus for Congress: http://www.imusforcongress.com/

Donate if you can: http://www.imusforcongress.com/donate/

Together, we can send Rep. McClintock and other conservatives in congress another strong ally to fight the RINOs and liberals. On to Liberty in 2012!

Spoa

Addition: P.S.: With news of our $16 trillion deficit, it is important to accept and remember that while the Democrats hold a lot of fault for this deficit, there were several Republicans who voted to raise the debt ceiling, supported bailouts, and refuse to make spending cuts. Paul Cook will be no different…Gregg Imus will MAKE a difference!

Imus beat up his wife. Oops, my mistake. Streiff doesn’t like that. Imus was only arrested for beating up his wife. The charges were later dropped on a plea bargain.

Case MSB089463 Defendant 1895795 IMUS, WILLIAM GREG – Charges

    Filed Charges
Count 1 Charge PC M242 Severity M Description BATTERY Violation Date 09/15/2005 Plea NOT GUILTY Status DISMISSED

    Count 2 Charge PC I415 Severity I Description FIGHTING;NOISE;OFFENSIVE
WORDS Violation Date 09/15/2005 Plea GUILTY Status CONVICTED

Imus’ Nov. 6th opponent is (ret.) Colonel Paul Cook who is an outgoing Republican member of the California General Assembly. He is endorsed by the US Chamber of Congress and Rep. Jerry Lewis, the retiring member, and based on Cook’s voting record, he seems to be a pretty solid conservative. https://votesmart.org/candidate/key-votes/58121/paul-cook

    • streiff

you did read what you posted, right? The part that says Plea NOT GUILTY and Status DISMISSED. To native English speakers that implies that he said he didn’t do it and the case was dropped.

      • RSFreiheit

Err, yes. I then continued on to the second paragraph where I read he plead guilty for a reduced charge; information with which anyone one who has an understanding of the judicial system could reasonably guess that it was a plea bargain.

In fact, you could have even clicked on my link and then read the “PLEA INFORMATION: DEFENDANT PLEADS GUILTY PER PLEA BARGAIN (INCORPORATED BY REFERENCE HEREIN) AS TO COUNT(S) 2.”

Imus beat his wife and then accepted a plea bargain on a reduced sentencing. Apparently you’ve reached the point where now proving me wrong is more important than fact checking.

        • streiff

in the second paragraph it says he was convicted of “fighting noise”. You said he was convicted of wife beating. The new comments have an edit function. Use it to correct your comment. Now.

          • streiff

and I have reached the point where I am convinced your participation here is a net negative and my opinion does matter.

          • http://llphsecondrevolution.wordpress.com/ spoasteph97

Thank you streiff so much. If Freiheit had a policy issue to debate, I would not mind. But to come up with ridiculous accusations (some of them are exaggerated), he/she is not making productive arguments.

Also, I want to point out that Gregg Imus and his wife are still married…it’s been 32 years now. If she hated him that much, don’t you think she would have divorced him?

  • jamesm

I voted for McClintock. He is my congressman. We do elect conservatives in some districts in California. Front lines of the battle over here. Imus woud be an ally

    • http://llphsecondrevolution.wordpress.com/ spoasteph97

Thank you for Rep. McClintock. America thanks you for sending him. He’s an awesome representative!

  • RSFreiheit

Ok, here’s two more. Imus was also cited for running two red lights, in 2010 and 2012. The 2010 incident was dismissed and the 2012 incident resulted in a $790 fine. Both however involved Imus failing to appear (FTA) in court.

So that’s battery charges reduced on a plea bargain in 2005 and two FTAs in traffic courts within the past two years. For as much as Obama voted ‘Present’, at least he had the decency to show up.

We have two Republican running in this race. Let’s elect the one who’s not a crook, please?

    • Jack_Savage

Oh NO! Running a red light! I agree sir, that is simply a bridge too far. Yessir, a bridge too far!

      • RSFreiheit

We have an equally conservative Republican running against this gut. There’s no Democrat in the race. Yet we’re supposed to elect and support this guy — who was arrested for battery, and can’t even show up to his traffic citations — over another conservative Republican?

Paul Cook. Veteran (2 Purple Hearts). 100% from the Chamber of Congress. Educator. Mayor. California Assemblyman. Self described “common sense conservative”. http://www.joinpaulcook.com/

        What?

        • http://llphsecondrevolution.wordpress.com/ spoasteph97

53%-Jerry Lewis (Paul Cook will follow this guy)

88%-Tom McClintock (Gregg Imus will follow this guy’s example)

          Heritage Foundation: http://heritageactionscorecard.com/scorecard/#ca#state#California

Compare and ponder. (You may not want to use the Chamber of Commerce (I don’t think it is the Chamber of Congress)…they endorsed RINO Dick Lugar in the primary: http://thehill.com/blogs/ballot-box/senate-races/221947-chamber-of-commerce-endorses-lugar

They aren’t very good in choosing Republican vs. Republican races.

          • RSFreiheit

HAHAHAH! We’re going to look at the scores of two non-related politicians and then declare those scores to be the exact same as those endorsed? PLEASE.

    • http://llphsecondrevolution.wordpress.com/ spoasteph97

Freiheit…you sound worst than a Democrat. In fact, you sound exactly like a Democrat:
      http://www.politicsdaily.com/2010/08/27/kristi-noem-rising-gop-star-under-fire-for-20-speeding-tickets/

This Democrat blasted her opponent for getting speeding tickets. I suppose you are a saint who has never done anything wrong in your life.

You talked about Jerry Lewis giving his endorsement to Paul Cook. That is just another reason for us to deny him this seat. Jerry Lewis earned a 53% from the Heritage Foundation: http://heritageactionscorecard.com/scorecard/#ca#state#California

If that’s your idea of a conservative, I can only feel sorry for this nation if we elect pro-life STATISTS to congress. Paul Cook is pro-life…that’s the only conservative position he holds. He gives lip service to all other principles.

      • RSFreiheit

Oh, because only Democrats care if their candidates are crooks? (Of course, I’m not implying that Imus is a crook; having four serious run-ins with the law doesn’t make you one.)

You know what I really have an issue with? Passing off this guy as the only “conservative” in the race and then copying and pasting his donation link across the internet to get ill-informed conservatives to donate their hard earned money to him.

        • http://llphsecondrevolution.wordpress.com/ spoasteph97

          Here’s Paul Cook’s Issue Page:
          http://joinpaulcook.com/issues.asp

Here’s Gregg Imus’s Issue Page: http://www.imusforcongress.com/issues/ (Very detailed)

This is why I am endorsing Gregg Imus…he gives detailed plans. He says that he will end wasteful subsidies, oppose raising the debt ceiling, and has sworn to end the capital gains and death taxes.

“End all government subsidized programs that are financially crippling our country such as the solar and wind energy programs. Give them the old sink or swim test. If they can’t swim then let them sink.”

What about Paul Cook? Let’s look at what he says. He has NEVER PROMISED to never raise the debt ceiling…he NEVER TALKS ABOUT ENDING SUBSIDIES…and when he talks about taxes, he says he will keep them low and vote against increases. He never goes into specifics. That’s the problem. If he would revise his page and go into hard specifics…tell me what he would eliminate, I would stop calling him a RINO. But receiving an endorsement from one of the King of Porks doesn’t help him.

          • RSFreiheit

Very detailed? LOL! Imus’ issues page is 978 words long; Cook’s is 448. Both are lacking in any detail. Most of Imus’ word are spent on crappy metaphors about sailing.

As well, unlike Cook, Imus is absent his pro-life views, or any talk about debts & deficits. But, let me point out a couple things about Imus’ page:

“End the corporate and union stranglehold on Washington by drastically reducing the amount they are allowed to contribute to campaigns.”

EG, Imus opposes both free speech and the Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision.

“We must have a complete audit and end of the Federal Reserve System, which has enabled the over 95% reduction of what our dollar can buy and continues to create money out of thin air to finance future debt.”

Besides that last clause being wrong on every single count; he seems to be calling for the end of central banking as we know it. I thought only kooks like Ron Paul were on that particular fringe. I guess I was wrong.

“We must guarantee our intelligence community’s efforts are directed toward legitimate threats and not spying on innocent Americans through unconstitutional power grabs like the Patriot Act.”

            Nope, full on Paulite.

“Enforce our Immigration Laws – Deport the illegal aliens that have criminally entered our country.”

… and deporting every single illegal alien in our country is something that I could never take seriously.

        • jamesm

Moby…Dick. You should read more. Freiheit….you are talking out you donkey. You’re pushing a Rino. Your tactics are trollish. Methinks you protest too much. Advocate for a candidate. Politics of personal destruction won’t work
