Why aren’t we hearing about this on the campaign trail from McCain and Palin? I think even this blatant money grab by the libs would resonate with those who would get a check from Dear Leader. This expansion of government is sheer madness!

It’s now October 21

Sure seems like time is running out to connect the dots. And I read that Obama has bought significant chunks of ad time, in some cases, all available ad time in some swing states. We’re going to have a hard time connecting the dots if we can’t get the message through the MSM filter…..and that’s assuming that reported $160M RNC ad buy is true. Haven’t heard much on this in a while.

Sorry for being somewhat defeatist….it’s been a blue Tuesday.

RNC to spend $160M

I watched a bunch of football here in Richmond this weekend and The One’s ads were everywhere and there were very few McCain/RNC ads to counter Obama.

It still seems like the McCain camp is just going through the motions…..mentioing Ayers, ACORN, etc… just enough to keep us satisfied and off their back while not fully jumping in the deep end to expose Obama for the Marxist that he is and all of his radical associations.

And there’s still all of these questions out there:

$150M raised by Dear Leader in September. There is no way all of that cash is legal. No.Way.

Lingering issues with Ayers/Dohrn/CAC

Obama’s relationship with Raila Odinga

McCain has never once brought up the Global Poverty Act which would require the US to fork over $850B to the UN to give to corrupt African dictators and that’s on top of the $1T that Obama wants to spend domestically.

And the systemic attempt by ACORN to steal the election.

I gotta tell you. It just seems to me that the fix is in. I have never be this down on this country…..Ever.

We are 2 weeks away from electing the most frightening person ever to run for national office. And we’re about to give him a super majority in Congress who will alter this country for the worse for generations. I simply cannot believe this country would actually do this. But maybe I’m wrong. Maybe America is no longer a center-right country. Maybe I live in a center-right bubble and the rest of the country really are moonbats and want a Marxist state.

Encouragement wanted[needed].

More government intervention….when is it going to stop!!!! So the government is going to put $600 into this government run account and require you to put 5% of your salary into this account, run by the same people who have bankrupted Social Security. Unbelievable.

I.Am.Beside.Myself.

So now the government, if Dear Leader is elected, will dictate how much you make after radical income redistribution and then dictate how much (or how little) you have to save.

Once again, an attack on the free market. An attack on small business, and quite frankly a reckless attack on the middle class. Who do you think takes advantage of this program the most? In many cases, it may be the only savings vehicle people have. I know when my wife finished law school and we were just getting started, after buying a fixer-upper and paying back law school loans, there was very little money left so contributing to your company’s 401K, especially to get the company match was a really big deal. It gave you a head start to take advantage of compounding interest later on.

McCain and the RNC should really make a this an issue over the next 18 days since it would affect millions of working class people in middle America. People would understand this immediately. It crosses all demographic boundaries. Frame it for what it is, another example of vast and needless government intrusion into individual lives and another money grab by big government.

I mean I tune into Hannity’s America after seeing posted somewhere that he was going to have additional information exposed about Obama, radical associations, etc… So what does he have? Steele, Beckel and Gerry…..Yawn. Then a re-airing of the McCain/Palin interview from earlier in the week. Yawn. And then no mention at all of the supposed Corsi interview on Monday about Corsi’s Kenyan information linking Obama to Odinga, etc..

What is going on?!?! Did this Corsi info not pan out? I haven’t seen it debunked anywhere. And what of the supposed new information Hannity was going to air? I’m being to believe that there really isn’t anything new on Obama that’s going to come out before 11/4 and that the $160M the RNC is going to spend is just going to re-hash that same crap already out there. If so, I suspect we’re going to end up with a Marxist president. Pelosi is already banking on it by planning to bring Congress back after the election to ram through a bunch of new spending.

With the ‘Skins losing today it’s not shaping up to be a banner week. (Or next four years.)

Senator McCain,

After spending a week focused on the bailout and seeing our position in the polls deteriorate, I respectfullly urge you and your campaign to get more aggressive. I’m sure you have staff monitoring the conservative blogs and if so, you’ll see an overwhelming sentiment and impression that you’re ‘going through the motions’ and appearing as though you might not be playing to win.

We are all behind you and Gov. Palin and we believe this is THE most important election in generations. Our country is depending on your victory or we will see freedoms and liberties go away, maybe permanently, under an Obama administration. Just look around and see his campaign attempts to suppress free speech re: ads, radio, TV.

Look around and see the voter fraud occuring in Ohio and Wisconsin as I write this. Look around and see Obama’s past and current associations with radicals and terrorists. For the life of me, I cannot understand why you are not talking about these things with the American people.

Senator, my father served in the Army for 30 years, my brother for seven. I am a decendent of Admiral William F. ‘Bull” Halsey. I understand military honor but I also understand that to win a war you must fight to win.

You must fight with every weapon at your disposal and you must not let the possibility of collateral damage influence your mission. We would not have ended WWII unless we went nuclear and broke the will of the Japanese people. We cannot win this election, an election that we desperately need to win for the sake of our children, my 6 and 8 year old, and others like them, unless your campaign goes nuclear and breaks the will of the Democrats.

I know that may be foreign to you because of your reputation and desire to work with both parties. But now is the time to set aside that bipartisanship, and become and campaign as a partisan AMERICAN. Do this for the country that you have served so honorably. Do this for our children and grandchildren. And do this to keep the most liberal person ever to run for POTUS from influencing generations as President.

Please Sen. McCain, take the gloves off. Fight. Fight. Fight. We will fight with you. And when the ashes of this political war settle, we will still be standing with you. A better country. And you a better President.

May God bless you, your family and your campaign. And may God bless the United States of America.

Don’t Do It [Stephen Spruiell]

I’m hearing disconcerting rumors that McCain is planning to endorse the so-called Gang of 20 energy legislation. That would be a huge mistake. In terms of its effect on the conservative base, supporting the Gang of 20’s energy bill would be like McCain pouring a big bucket of cold water on the fire he started with the Palin pick.

Here’s what the editors had to say about the gang last week:

The bill would open up a tiny little smidgen of space on the Outer Continental Shelf for oil and gas exploration — just enough that Democrats who vote for it can claim to be pro-drilling, neutralizing one of the Republicans’ most energizing issues going into the November elections. But the benefits of the bill’s meager drilling provisions would be negated (and then some) by $30 billion in tax hikes on U.S. oil companies, placing our own domestic producers at an additional disadvantage compared to their overseas competitors. In exchange for very little new supply, these companies would pay higher taxes related to the crucial activities of exploration and refinery-capacity expansion. To nobody’s great surprise, the industry is not eager to accept this trade.

The money raised by taxing U.S. oil companies would go to pay for $84 billion in new spending on dodgy renewable energy projects — mostly tax credits for hybrid cars and research grants for biofuel production. If you want to know how much of an impact this multi-billion-dollar giveaway for special interests is likely to have on gasoline prices, consider this: Since 2005, Congress has passed two energy bills chock full of subsidies for renewable energy, and gas prices have increased nearly $1.50 per gallon.

And:

The gang’s proposal would actually leave most offshore areas off-limits in exchange for allowing four states — Georgia, Virginia, and the Carolinas — the option of approving new oil leases 50 miles off their shores. The bill would open a little new acreage in the Gulf of Mexico off Florida, but Florida’s eastern shores would remain off-limits, as would the oil-rich Pacific.

Republicans in the gang appear to have seriously underestimated their party’s strength on this issue. Two-thirds of the public supports opening the Outer Continental Shelf to new drilling. The gang is undermining Republicans in a fight they are winning politically and policy-wise. The congressional ban on offshore drilling expires October 1. President Bush has made it clear that he will not sign any bill that renews the ban. All Republicans have to do is stand with the president and let the ban expire. No new taxes. No new spending. Just a new supply of domestically produced energy.

McCain opposes wasteful spending and supports offshore drilling. The Gang of 20’s bill contains a lot of the former and very little of the latter, and it raises taxes on domestic energy production. Americans for Tax Reform has announced that a vote for the gang’s bill would constitute a violation of its taxpayer protection pledge, which McCain has signed.

Obama will probably end up supporting the gang’s bill. Why wouldn’t he? Its drilling provisions are a sham, but it lets him claim he supports drilling. McCain needs to strongly oppose this bill. By doing so, he would be holding out for a better policy (the expiration of the drilling ban) and denying Obama valuable political cover.

This is the last thing we need to have happen right now….15 days from when the OCS drilling ban is lifted and we have Obama and the Dems on the run.* Why if the freaking world would McCain do something this freaking stoopid!!! *I know it’s only a rumor but my dad always said where there’s smoke there’s fire so let’s hope Steve Schmidt puts this out pronto.

The hypocrisy is simply stunning. The Leftist media thinks it’s perfectly OK to insert themselves and question how a public servant, a woman, is raising or would raise her child should she become VP. Yet they blow a gasket every time there’s any movement by the government to decrease the number of babies being aborted every day.

I guess it’s not OK for the government to protect human life but it’s OK for the media to yammer and question how you raise that child. I can’t say that I’m surprised considering this:

Straight from the Obamacle’s website…..

Barack Obama’s Plan
Early Childhood Education

Zero to Five Plan: Obama’s comprehensive “Zero to Five” plan will provide critical support to young children and their parents. Unlike other early childhood education plans, Obama’s plan places key emphasis at early care and education for infants, which is essential for children to be ready to enter kindergarten. Obama will create Early Learning Challenge Grants to promote state “zero to five” efforts and help states move toward voluntary, universal pre-school.

They want the right to set aside a poor soul to perish in a soiled utility room, but if by some grace of God that child survives, you’ll need to begin immediate indoctrination in the Obamacle’s plan. Now don’t think for a minute that there won’t be mandates from the Obama regime tying the amount of money received by a state to percentage of child population enrolled in the Early Childhood Edu…, errr. Indoctrination.

Fascist plans at work my friends that needs to be avoided at ALL costs. I suspect this is not the change most Americans believe in.

I suspect these people are not the unhinged kooks of the Dhimmikratt Party but rather pretty normal mainstream traditional Democrats. If this is a sample of the 18 million that voted for Hillary in the primaries, then this could be a McCain/Palin rout. It could be a 10+ point victory in November.

Flip-Flop Here

Wasn’t it less than two months ago the Obamessiah said this?

BARACK OBAMA: “I think that I would have preferred a gradual adjustment. The fact that this is such a shock to American pocketbooks is not a good thing. But if we take some steps right now to help people make the adjustment, first of all by putting more money into their pockets, but also by encouraging the market to adapt to these new circumstances more quickly, particularly US automakers, then I think ultimately, we can come out of this stronger and have a more efficient energy policy than we do right now.” (CNBC, 6/10/08)

And now he says this?

“My interest is in making sure we’ve got the kind of comprehensive energy policy that can bring down gas prices,” Obama said in an interview with The Palm Beach Post.

This kind of crap is just un-freakin-believable and the MSM lets him get away with it…no surprise here. Hey, Obamarxist….you can’t have it both ways. Either you keep gas prices high and pray for divine intervention for magic fuel while driving the economy into the ground in the process or we drill….NOW….and work towards complete energy independence to keep from sending $700B a year overseas to Islamo-fascists who want us dead.

Drill….Drill Now!
