McCain Goes On Offense!

Looks like the McCain Camp is Listining

The Obama Iraq Documentary: Whatever the Politics Demand

Earlier today I wrote: While Obama Campaigns Overseas McCain Needs To Go On Offense-

With Obama going overseas to gain favor and hold the first of its kind campaign rally’s to people who can’t vote, it’s a perfect time for McCain to strike at Obama and go on offense!

While I was putting this together Marc Ambinder reported that the McCain camp might be planning to do exactly that:

Today, the McCain campaign will send out a video called “The Obama Iraq Documentary: Whatever the Politics Demand.”

“The video doesn’t lie,” a McCain aide says. “With Obama’s trip coming up, we thought it important to put together a documentary video outlining the various zigs and zags of his position on Iraq. It presents a candidate willing to let his political ambition dictate his position on what is obviously the most critical national security issue we face.”

And I’ve heard back from the McCain campaign: Obama, while overseas, is fair game.

As an aside, the next time anyone tries to tell you that there’s no liberal bias in the media… you can point to the fact that for the first time in history network anchors will accompany a presidential candidate on an overseas trip! That’s right all three major network anchors are slated to accompany Barack Obama on his trip. I suppose they don’t see their bias and unbalanced actions as they did not accompany McCain in the same fashion.

Jill Hazelbaker, Communications Director for John McCain, says Obama’s trip overseas is nothing but a big campaign rally.

It’s a nice video, but needs some real editing. At 7:49, with the average American have the attention span of a nat…where was I….it’s way way too long if you’re selling to the casual voter. Us political junkies, maybe someone would sit through the whole thing, but Aunt Mildred…no way.

30 seconds, 60 seconds tops, quick cuts, maybe mixed up time line with the various changing version of “What Nobama believes”, which is nothing, just which way the wind is blowing. Hey I know, throw in a Unicorn wind vain blowing and spinning in the wind.

of REALLY hard hitting ads. If McCain plays with his “my good friend and collegue” play book the messiah will be our next President. All Republicans need to be united to defeat – utterly destroy – this guy. Politically, professionally and personally.

This man is a wanton liar.

Those are not just ordinary gaffes. They have some elements of deceit.

    • Darin_H

That video is awesome. That’s what happens to novices who don’t have any core convictions other than getting elected, they will say anything to any group. You could get away with it before, not these days.

      • Rod_Patrick

Maybe, start exposing the communist gangrene within the core of the Democratic Party that has dominated its host in the last 15 years.

  • KBDay

the pass the media gives Dems.

I recommend too–watched the vid earlier and it really drives the point home.

Anderson Cooper 360 just shrugged it, by trying to put emphasis on BO’s vacation to Europe.

MSM has become so blind in seeing the truth underneath the video…

that BO has been lying (not just fflopping) to his fans since Day 1.

by the CBS, NBC and ABC anchors as they all but laughed at the amiable dunce Carter was about to beat.

        • Rod_Patrick

I think it would be very educational if you make a diary on Carter’s gaffes and relate it to those of BO’s.

This will prove that a vote for BO is really just a vote for another term of Carter.

Or, are there already existing articles on this subject?

I’ll pull a GC and say why.

The video seemed to me to be waaayyy too long at first. Once I started watching it, I was disapointed that it was so short! I had forgotten Sen Obama’s many statements on Iraq. This “documentary” brings the whole messy primary process back to the front of my mind. I was mostly concentrating on what the Republicans were up to, until Sen. McCain got the nod, then I finally started watching the Dems. I missed out on alot because I didn’t really care what the left said. Now that the golden ring is getting closer, I hope more people are paying attention. This video could devastate Obama if enough ordinary (non-politaljunkie) people see it.

…a campaign ad! Hence the name The Obama Iraq Documentary: Whatever the Politics Demand

    Steve

Fair enough, but I sure would like to see shorter versions of this material as part of open season on Unicorns.

I’d still say that the only person who would sit through the whole thing is already converted to Nobamaism due to the length, but it is a great video.

I think I’d just change the title to…”See, we weren’t kidding, this guy really is an idiot”.

It would be nice to see this aired in the media as “hard-hitting campaign ads”. Oh, and throw the Udall debate in to just for good flavor. Wow, they both got pwned.

Because you seem to get it, which is more then I can say for the guy or gal who is currently running Johnny Macs campaign ad side of the campaign.

  • gamecock

    fine.
