The Senate Votes to Fund Socialist Climate Czar Carol Browner

Shining light on Carol Browner and Outing the 57 U.S. Senators Who Voted to Keep the Socialist Climate Czar Funded.

Yesterday, the Senate voted to table an amendment to the Interior Appropriations bill that would have prohibited any funds appropriated under the bill from being used by President Obama’s Socialist climate Czar, Carol Browner. By tabling this amendment these Senators ensured that funds can and will be used at her digression.

Amendment Number: S.Amdt. 2549 to H.R. 2996 (Department of the Interior, Environment, and Related Agencies Appropriations Act, 2010) To ensure that the Assistant to the President for Energy and Climate Change (commonly known as the “White House Climate Change Czar”) is not directing actions of departments and agencies funded by this Act.

Amendment SA 2549 was proposed by Senator Vitter and co-sponsored by Senators Grassley, Bunning, Roberts, and Brownback. Please find the list below of the 57 Seantors who voted to fund President Obama’s Socialist climate Czar, Carol Browner and hold them accountable.

Americans for Prosperity Director of Policy Phil Kerpen issued the following statement:

In voting to keep White House Climate Czar Carol Browner funded, the Senate voted to allow a hard-left ideologue to continue to drive U.S. policy. Even worse, the Senate undermined its own constitutional right to exercise advice and consent by allowing an unaccountable White House staff czar to exert unchecked influence on energy policies.

Carol Browner has already overstepped the bounds of a legitimate adviser by crafting the Obama’s administration’s unprecedented attempt to regulate automobile fuel economy standards. She shoehorned greenhouse gas regulation into the 1970 Clean Air Act, and she insisted that nothing was put in writing while she did it.

As recently as January of this year, Browner was listed as one of the 14 members of the “Socialist International Commission for a Sustainable World Society” on that group’s web site. The 57 U.S. Senators who voted to fund the whims of Climate Czar Carol Browner with taxpayer money will have to explain that to their constituents.

I know a lot of people get all bent out of shape when, we on the right, use the word Socialist to describe a member of Obama’s administration but believe me it’s not without good cause.

In the case of Carol Browner we know exactly who she is and what organizations she associates with, even though the left has done everything in their power to scrub her associations from the internet.

Though the left has taken steps and deleted her involvement with Socialist International and their Commission for a Sustainable World Society on Wikipedia, other that to say: “She left all of these boards in late 2008 when she was named to serve in the Obama administration.[38] Until summer 2008 she was a member of Socialist International’s Commission for a Sustainable World Society,[39][38][40] although the commission’s web site still had her listed as a member in January 2009”

What they didn’t want you to know was the fact that she was listed as one of fourteen leaders of Socialist International. The deleted section

Socialist International

Until January 2009, she was listed as one of fourteen leaders of Socialist International. The group calls for rich countries to shrink their economies in order to combat climate change. However, her name was removed from organization’s website after Barack Obama appointed her to be his coordinator of energy and climate policy.

Here you’ll find the deleted Socialist International Page and here’s one they over looked and forgot to delete. According to Socialist International’s website Carol Browner is listed as a participant at the XXIII Congress of the Socialist International, Athens Global Solidarity: The courage to make a difference on June 30th though July 2nd 2008.

Scroll toward the end of the page under the heading: Individuals

Nice try there with the Stalinist air-brushing but you need to check every nook and cranny if you want to successfully delete a person from an organizations website. Here some other groups Browner has been involved with… She served on the board of several non-profit organizations, including chair of the National Audubon Society, She also joined the Board of the Directors of the Alliance for Climate Protection, the Center for American Progress, and the League of Conservation Voters.

Carol Browner hasn’t read the highly contested climate bill

For a President who claimed “judge me by the people I surround myself with” he sure does surround himself with a lot of Socialists…

can we call her a traitor now? The woman voted to fund a socialist surely we can now say she is no Republican…RIGHT? or shall the “moderates” continue to say that Snowe is the only kind of the Republican who can get elected in ME? If so should she not just go all in and put a S after her name? She has just voted for funding Socialism that MUST cost her something or will we waddle along pretending all of this is quite normal behavior? are we going to be sheep in this party or are we going to be WOLVES? I prefer the wolves.

See how the Boy Senator voted? He should be hung, drawn, and quartered here for that vote, but I doublt the Anchorage Daily Begich News or the AP will even cover it. I didn’t see it in the online ADN or in the Juneau Empire.

but I didn’t get here until after the damage was done. Ted might have been a little porky but at least he was strong when we needed him. More than the Water Boy replacement is.

And reminded him that he better hope Rubio wins next year, or he’ll put Nelson out of office in 2012 and Democrat Senators in the south are an exception. We want our seat back.

    Australia: Change…. Fail.

$14m climate change blitz leaves public caring less.

A $14 MILLION Federal Government publicity blitz designed to win public support for its carbon pollution reduction scheme appears to have failed spectacularly.

A Government market research report obtained by The Sunday Age reveals the level of public concern about climate change fell after the completion of the public relations push, known as ”Think Change”. It involved television, radio, and newspaper advertisements, a telephone hotline, a website and a public consultation road show, all between July and November last year.

Oh wait…. This only failed because it’s raaaaaaaaaaacist.

That was for the good of the environment, who cares about the untold millions who died of malaria. No racism there, not holding any third world economies back by ensuring they are decimated by disease and pestilence. That was the evil capitalists, sorry evil racist capitalists!
