Dead Tree Media starting to bite back?

Looks like old Harry Reid done gone and stepped on it, “Big Time”, at least in Vegas with the paper of record for the state.

I usually scan a fair number of Dead Tree media sites, and I have never seen an editorial that slaps down a politician this hard, especially a sitting Senator up for re-election.  Maybe it’s a good sign of the turning of the tide for a MSM that is getting tired of free prostitution for Democratic office holders, maybe this is just Nevada, who knows, but this is a great editorial.

He has nothing to do with news coverage or the opinion pages of the Review-Journal.”

      I did not spend the time going through all of the comments, but looks like it’s about 10:1 in favor of the smack down, with the 1 or 2 being the usual useful idiots of the left.

        the part that I found interesting is that most of the smackdown supporters seem to be in-state and most of the critics seem to be out-of-state.

          and the culinary union. Most of those folks are not going to take the time time to read the editorial section of the paper, let alone comment. Reid’s only hope is money. He can outspend whoever we put up against him.

          I hopeful that Sen Ensign may use some of his remaining clout with the GOP (what little there may be) to help direct funds to our candidate. Let’s hope.

            They seem a bit nuts! I find few of the anti-harry ones that are nut jobs, but the only ones supporting dingy are crazy.

    and Harry Reid, in particular. This is definitely his best, but he smacks dingy Harry around quite a bit. Which, I’m sure is a big part of the reason Reid hates the RJ.

    Got into a bit of a mess here over his comments regarding the closure of the Rocky Mountain News. Democrats are only pro-business when it is their business(es), otherwise they hope your business fails. Curious, when was the last time a Republican was overheard saying s/he wanted a business to fail?

    Rush says he wants Obama to fail (as do I) and the MSM screams their collective heads off. Sen. Reid wants a business to fail (and people to lose their jobs) and not a peep out of the state run media. Keep the hypocrisy going guys and keep losing those viewers. Win win!

    ol’ Harry- the constipated weasel- Reid was put out to pasture! I’m reminded of his famous posturing statement,”the war is lost, the surge is not working.”
    I hope that was his funeral dirge. At least it helped.

    I am not a Mormon myself, but there are several in my family, and they, as well as every other Mormon I have ever encountered, have been some of the most kind and curteous people imaginable. What the heck happened to Harry Reid to make him such a rude, mean-spirited jerk?

    and the exact opposite in private, as he did in this instance? I could swear he is but can’t dig up the history. To call him two-faced would probably be a compliment, though.

    I just want to know what his actual skills and talents are, other than graft, bribery and all-around skullduggery. Otherwise he is about as incompetent, inarticulate, and insensate a member of Congress as there’s been in the past century.
