NY 23 “Doug Hoffman doesn’t have an ice cube’s chance”

Looks like as predicted, Doug Hoffman held true to his promise to keep in the race for NY 23, even after being beat in the R. Primary. He’s now running as the “Conservative Party”, whatever that is.

A response from the NY Tea Party is pretty hard and concludes “Doug Hoffman doesn’t have an ice cube’s chance. ” of winning. Mark L. Baire of the UYTEA party called him out pretty directly in this open letter.

So will those “True Conservatives” who condemn write-ins and thrid party bids by loosers of Republican primaries also be Consistent Conservatives who also think Doug Hoffman is wrong, or will there be selective condemnation of Mr. Hoffman’s actions ?

Hoffman was not dragged kicking and screaming from his incumbency, or quasi incumbency, like the Murkowskis, Castles, Crists…

But the outcome may be the same…he’ll dilute the convervative vote and let the D incumbent in the back door…again…

Guess it’s not important enough to win the seat back for the R party for any of his previous supporters haven’t so far found the time to explain what his actions may result in.

This is not optional. There hasn’t been a rash of pro-Hoffman dairies here that would make this post anything other than a rank attempt at trolling.

You annoy everyone here. We haven’t banned you because we’re trying to be lienient these days, but don’t test us.

He ran in the Republican primary, it was not a behind doors process this time. The Republican nominee is a good Conservative, and we should support him, as the winner of the primary.

This diary would make sense if there was a non de minimis level of support for Hoffman being expressed on this site. However, I haven’t read any diaries or comments supporting him since he lost the primary.

Can you point to a single pro-Hoffman comment in all of RedState?

Yes, I condemn Hoffman staying in the race. I also condemn illiteracy, child truancy, and the incredibly powerful lobby in this country that is against apple pie and baseball.
