Meet the Press (NBC): Tim Russert talks to GOP Presidential contender Fred Thompson

FOX News Sunday (FNS): Host Chris Wallace kicks off a new FNS series, American Leaders, with former President George Herbert Walker Bush.

This Week (ABC): Host George Stephanopoulos talks to Dem Presidential contender John Edwards.

Face the Nation (CBS): Host Bob Schieffer talks to Dem Presidential contender Joe Biden. Hillary’s Mark Penn will be on next.

Late Edition (CNN): Host Wolf Blitzer talks to Tony Blair, John McCain, Chris Dodd, Arlen Specter, Dianne Feinstein, and his usual cast of billions.

I’ve heard too many media pro’s who like to listen to themselves pontificate tell us that this appearance is “Thompson’s most important yet,” “do or die,” “has to prove that…,” etc. Oh, shut up. My opinion is that Fred Thompson has about two months to convince a lot of people that he is willing to be and is capable of being POTUS. MTP will be a preview of what we ill see from Thompson from here on in.

Steph’s still a relatively young guy, plenty of hair. Perhaps Edwards will offer him tips.

Joe Biden might talk to Schieffer about his version of Joe-mentum, while Schrieffer has to allow Penny the opportunity to spin his client’s intellectual incoherency

No, Wolf’s not having a roundtable with those disparate voices; rather, he’ll do some gear-switching. Lots of it. It should be interesting to hear Feinstein and Specter argue it out over Mike Mukasey, considering that, as on so many other faces and issues of they day, the two agree.

All people have to do to come over to Thompson's camp, is listen to what he has to say. Yes, there is time, and there is time for the others to show their true colors. Fred's popularity will grow as folks get closer to actually making a binding decision. An hour on MTP will be useful.
