As Veterans Day approaches (this Sunday), we must pay tribute as deeply and sincerely as we can. It's difficult to find words to express the gratitude I have for the men and women who so selflessly serve our country and the world. To them, I am indebted forever. This first video is a couple years old but it still gives me chills. They are both short but truly meaningful clips that convey what can't quite be said.

That one got me teary eyed when I first saw it. They do a phenomenal job of making commercials. I still remember the 9/11 tribute one.
The Fuzzy Puppy of the VRWC. I've been usurped!
(read-Clintonites) see this?
Yes, some schools still hold these...you know where the crowd stands up for the Pledge of Allegiance, the kids sing our national anthem, and various other patriotic songs and veterans are asked to stand, are recognized and applauded for their sacrifice for the country. Does that happen at your schools?
I was honored to be there as a veteran and proud that the school would put this wonderful celebration together...as they have since their Principal began the event...at least 5 years.

About a month ago, my wife and I were traveling home, waiting for a flight that was late. The plane finally arrives and the first 5 people off were soldiers. All these grumpy, tired passengers at the gate rose to their feet and were clapping just like in the first video. Just a small token of our gratitude.

had interviewed me for their veterans day program, I was not able to attend, but she sent pictures of the reception, which included my picture along with the interview on the "veterans wall".
There are still some good school administrators out there.
Great ad--thanks for posting it. :-)
