Annnnnd there goes the hope for a Florida do-over!

By all means, spit on Florida Democrats. Especially the ones who are freshmen in Congress.

I guess that they didn't really want to flip Florida this year:

Florida Dems abandon mail-in vote plan

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - Florida Democrats have abandoned plans to redo the presidential primary with a mostly mail-in vote.

Party leaders had expressed concerns about the proposal. The party plan was to run a second primary to seat the state's delegates at the August convention.

You know, at first I was a little worried when Howard Dean got the nod for DNC, thanks to his 50 48 State strategy. But after seeing what it has wrought... don't ever change, Howard.

Really. I mean it.

...but has terribly managed the presidential primary.

...if we just did really poorly.

The Fuzzy Puppy of the VRWC. I've been usurped!

and I think he was right. I remember wishing at the time that I could swap everybody out of Congress and still have a GOP majority in the end.

but the Democratic Party, as an organization, is a stronger position now than it was four years ago. Regardless of the outcome of the presidential race, we need to work on our grassroots regarding the legislature.

“One element in the strength of any government is the patriotism of the people, their love for its institutions, their pride for its name and achievements.” ~ William McKinley

If the Democrats cant run their own primaries how can they run the country ?

Ahhh that feels so good falling off the tongue.

It'll be great fun to tell them to do national popular vote in their own party first, then come back and report on how well it worked.

can't given the lack-o-success Pelosi and Reid have had the last two years. How about that 21.3% (RCP) approval?

He leads by 4% over Obama and 7% over Clinton in a Florida poll released yesterday (blogged about it here).

How about a little more Democrat disenfranchisement?

:)

Some I hit reply and sent a message about how the Dims I knew were such pieces of feces. Still they come to this day.

Most remain unopened, but I remember that 'strategy' you talk about. Bot E-mail from screamin' Dean, what a kick.
