Hmmm by nickaster

I'm not sure it's legal to walk in there with a camera, perhaps that's what the controversy is about?

At the end of the tape he doesn't have the camera and they are still blocking him.

Does PA law prohibit signs within a certain distance of the polling place? This whole video smacks of voter intimidation and no regard for the law- yet again only in a Democratic polling station.

So far by johnCV

So far, the only serious complaints about election irregularties and actual voter disenfranchisement has been of D-rats doing it to R's.

I am in awe of the outright decreptitude of what the dems have become. The only expectation I have of them any longer is that they will always find a way to plumb a new low.

Very Interesting Video by Mrs Davis

We'll be seeing more like it in the future. Americans are not really ready to see how ugly elections are in Philadelphia, Scranton and Chester. But they're going to and there will be a reaction when they start to understand how long elections have been rigged. (And it goes back to when the Republican machine ran Philadelphia the same way. And it is not now strictly a Pennsylvania problem by any stretch of the imagination.) The videos from the nest presidential election are going to be real eye openers.

Ridiculous by KingR

The guy was a Democrat and he was turned away. I mean, it seems to me that Republicans are getting supressed here, and no one could be happier.

Heres' a report from Charlotte (Internet Radio Station):
On some machines, if you push Straight Republican ticket, it comes up Straight Democrat. That's not right. I'm trying to spread the word.

Anyone think it's odd... by KatieFavazza

...that this guy brought a friend and a video camera to the polls? It doesn't seem to match up. Maybe set up?

Sure... by docj

About as odd as senior members of congress having Demands for an Investigation™ all ready to go before the polls even open.

Silly by Steve in Philly

a) He said he was a Democrat, so why are we worried about it exactly? They obviously only wanted Republicans to monitor the vote.

b) You can't take a video camera into the polling places in Pennsylvania. He tried to get in with a video camera and they told him no. Later he, perhaps, tried to get in without it. His friend with the camera was a couple feet away, however. I imagine if this Democrat came back without a video camera, they'd have let him in. He probably either actually did that, or if he didn't, he was clearly trying to be a provocateur.

Silly either way.

The poll workers must have been trained in Zimbabwe.

Yeah right... by mherren

Ok, how many inner city black districts in a metropolis like Philadelphia vote Republican? Get real. This kid probably only said he was a Democrat in the video to see if they'd let him in.

In regard to the set up, it's possible... but that doesn't really change the fact that even if they KNEW they would turn them away... the workers still turned them away. Considering those involved... I doubt these poll workers would be willing to participate in a Republican scheme.

Besides, I don't know where you've been living, but my camera phone can take video at least as good as this (Palm 650) and my digital camera can take even better video for up to 5 minutes (Exilim S600... nothing special).

Hi Fox News by Finrod

Michelle Malkin is on Fox News and just mentioned this thread on there.

(Should we be more vigilant for trolls and mobys (mobies?) now?)
