How Cute

While the slightest Republican critique of a Democrat is decried as the greatest threat to democracy since I-don't-know-what, stuff like the following just gets laughed off:

Speaking before Clinton, Gov. Steve Beshear had some fighting words of his own. He tied the plight of the national Democrats to local ones, having reclaimed the office from a Republican incumbent last year. He said Democrats were "problem solvers."

"I can think of only one Republican that could be a problem solver," he added. "And that is Vice President Cheney, if he would just take George on a hunting trip."

I won't hold my breath waiting for denunciations of so despicable a comment. But of course, if a Republican said something like this about a pair of Democrats, you could just imagine the outrage and fury.

Oh, I think if a democrat by The Default Attorney

had shot someone in the face on a hunting trip they would get ridiculed too. Maybe more so if they were for gun control.

I like how "going hunting" with Cheney has become like what happened to Fredo when he "went fishing" in the Godfather.

...it's about all the funny ha-ha ways in which the same BDS Democrats who live in fear of offending the fragile sensibilities of our enemies have no problem "joking" about killing the President of the United States.

However, I did get a chuckle out of the Governor's comment that Democrats are problem solvers. For big government hacks, every "solution" looks like big government. Precisely what have the Democrats solved in the past ~35 years?

Not surprising by RedFox84

Considering that The Guardian newspaper (or one of the British rags) ran an editorial two days prior to election day saying "Where is John Wilkes Booth or Lee Harvey Oswald when we need him most?" the left hasn't been particularly shy about saying how they'd like the leader of the free world shot.
