RedState Radio: Senator Talent Takes On McCaskill's Record

In the battle to save the United States Senate, and the fate of conservative judges, from Democrats, there are a number of important races, including Jim Talent's.
Ever since Jim Talent beat Jean Carnahan for Missouri's Senate Seat, the Democrats have been out to get him. Senator Talent, who served in the United States House of Representatives from 1993 to 2001, won his Senate seat in November, 2002. The Democrats were apoplectic because, if you remember, Mel Carnahan posthumously beat John Ashcroft and, as such, the seat was suppose to become a hereditary seat entitled to the Clan Carnahan, Missouri's version of the Kennedy family.
In the Senate, Senator Talent has been a forceful conservative and outspoken defender of the War on Terror. In his interview with RedState, he talks about his opponent's record. Though the opponent, Claire McCaskill, is a former prosecutor, she is opposed to the Terrorist Surveillance Program, she is opposed to military trials of terrorists, and she frequently seems more concerned that terrorists be treated sweetly than concerned that Americans be secure.
We're delighted to be joined by Senator Talent and I do have to say that Senator Talent's interview is the best we've done. He is clear and forceful on the need to defend the United States from terrorists. And, he is clear and forceful that some senators, Republicans included, need to put the security of the country ahead of technicalities and partisan pettiness. We also have some cool new intro music.

Great interview thanks!! Please send some money if you can.
If he hadn't suddenly decided to get soft on stem cells this election year, I'd be a much stronger supporter.
It's amazing, that after hearing that interview, this race is as close as it is.
What's also amazing is how out of touch McCaskill is on all the issues, not just national security!

First factor is the media refusing to ask her question and represent her for who she is. In many cases they just dont do much analysis. I might also add that they do not talk about the little drug incident which came up in 2004. I had not heard about it until now. I am sure it would rock the campaign.
Secondly is that she is running like a Republican down here in Southwest Missouri. Seriously. If you were to watch her campaigns you would swear she was Pence or Shaddig.
The catch is that she doesnt tell the whole truth about her positions.
When the media refuses to call a spade a spade, guess what happens.

If you guys want to know Talent, this is an excellent interview which will let you know what kind of man he is.
Great interview!
