There was a minor kerfluffle on the convo floor today as AIDS activists disrupted the proceedings. They shrieked the usual things that such individuals will shriek -- "Bush kills!" "Bush lies!" -- and received the treatment that such individuals usually receive: hauling off into a detention facility somewhere unpleasant.
There's not much to be said about this event, except that every one of these incidents translates into a Bush vote somewhere; and it's also an excellent opportunity to once again point out that when it comes to AIDS and global health in general, the Bush Administration is the best Administration ever.

These words out of Bush's mouth:
"As a gay American, I believe...."
The protesters themselves are highly irrelevant. The more important question is, how did they get where they were (right in front of the stage), what else could they have done if they wanted to, and could others be in their position when Bush speaks tomorrow?
Except for the "highly irrelevant" part, but otherwise, yes.
nothing. They are barking mad moonbats seething with hatred and irrational passion.

the Bush Administration is the best ever on funding AIDS prevention and research, I have to wonder exactly what Bush would have to do in order to earn the votes of these cranks. What, exactly, is it that they want?
