This is just another example of how its okay to be a democrat and a racist. Comparing the Lt. Governor of Maryland to both an "oreo" and a Nazi is unbelievable.  What's funny is comparing him to a character from "Back to the Future" is so laughable. You saw that character for a few minutes in the beginning and the middle of the movie. You don't know if he's Republican or Democrat or what he's done in the city. That's the most ridiculous political comparison I've ever seen.

The question is, why isn't this getting more media coverage? If a Republican did this, it would be plastered all over the news media. But since democrats are doing it, it's acceptable.

I think Vinny will find that the most common translation of the Fuerher's favorite canine is "Blondie" (as in Mrs. Bumstead) not "Goldie" (as in Hawn). His German must be very rusty because he mistakenly refers to the Governor as "Heir" Erlich. The German honorific is of course "Herr" not "Heir."

We shouldn't waste our time offering any sane assessment of this bigotry; it's always been justifiable for blacks to condemn their own conservative brethren and whites in any shape, manner or form.  And this, unfortunately is the latest example.  Do it to them, and their screaming racism at the top of their lungs.  Our best response to this is to congratulate them on their unqualified success at the hands of their Democratic saviors and wish them well.  After all, Bill Clinton thanked Rosa Parks yesterday for setting him free, as a young boy,  to allow him to move from the front of the bus to the back.  Little did the blacks know, he got off the damn bus and jumped into a limo.  

Several years ago I got to thinking what exactly 'racism' is.  I came up with my own working definition since I wasn't satisfied with what seemed to me the rather vague definitions out there.  So what I came up with was that if you predetermine how a person should behave or believe because of their race, you are racist.  It's a little more specific I think.  The terms 'Uncle Tom', 'oreo', 'n****r, etc, are all stellar examples of exactly this.  In addition, the idea that if you are 'black outside but white inside' is an obviously racist slam against all whites (yet Democrats don't seem to mind).  The implication is that it's a bad thing to be 'white inside'.  (Presumably, it would be almost as bad to be white outside.)

Seems that the Strickler website is a member of an internet mall and the owner wants to hear about merchant conduct. I wonder if they condone racist remarks?

Is it now okay to seek out a black female Democrat from Maryland, and throw boxes of "Aunt Jemima products?  Sure, they'd squeal like the hypocritical tortured pigs that they are, but it would certainly get the point across.

The liberals are the first to condem any conservative for implied racial insensitivity (look at Trent Lott) yet they refuse to denounce their own. We call that being a Hypocrite in my part of the united states.

I hate these kinds of posts, and the fact that it made front page is just sad. Both sides of the aisle have these kinds of hasteful racists (check protestwarrior if you want to see your own) and giving them attention just encourages them.

If you want your email box to fill up with crappy emails like that one from internet scum who says "hey, look, he got frontpaged, maybe I can too" then thats your decision, but it hardly represents the opinion of most democrats.

That may be true, but Democrats have been silent about decrying these tactics.  Tim Kaine faced the Wrath of Kos when he pulled his ads from Gilliard's dishonestly named News Blog, and Democratic leaders in Maryland are basically saying that Steele is a traitor to his race.  Where is the Howard Baker in your party who will step up and say enough of this?

If you want examples of them being racist, though, you don't need to be emailed, just check their public forum.

You make an allegation that Protest Warriors were racists. As evidence you produce a message board which thinks the rioting in Paris is bad. I find it hard to equate a "lack of tolerance" towards lawbreaking with racism.

But I think your departure from here is long overdue.

I linked to one thread where I knew there would be racism, because I assumed if you cared enough to see if they were racists, you could look for yourself. When i said "lack of tolerance" I was being sarcastic.

Okay, as a huge fan of Back to the Future, I have to take issue here.  Where is the evidence that Godlie Wilson was an incompetent mayor?  We see him as a hard working young black man in the 1950's pulling himself up by his own bootstraps - going to night school and expressing a desire to 'make something of myself'.  While it's true that parts of Hill Valley (the town that the movie takes place in) look run down in 1985, there is no evidence that this is Goldie Wilson's fault.  He is running for re-election, so he can't have been a total failure.  The only person we see objecting to him is a crazy woman who doesn't want him to replace a broken clock in the clock tower.

When you get down to it, liberals probably object to Goldie Wilson because he apperently succeds on his own - his 'can do' attitue about self-improvement sounds more GOP then Dem.  Perhaps he was a GOP mayor - quite possible given his attitude.  Perhaps it's a complement for Steele to be compared to him, though I'm sure it was not intended.

Vinny has some 'splainin to do.  Because there's no evidence in the movies that Mayor Goldie is incompetent, how on Earth, Vinny, did you draw that inference?  On account of his race?

I think the whole Hitler comparison has lost all meaning to me.  The libs seem to use it for everything.  Bush is Hitler.  Cheney is Hitler.  Scalia is Hitler.  Alito is Hitler.  Steele is Hitler.  Tancredo is Hitler.  And then, of course, they mouth off against Israel a few breaths later.

I'm really just done with Hitler.  There is no more meaning.  In fact, next time I think I shall be singing of Springtime in Hitler's Germany when I hear this tired argument.
