Everything You Need to Know About the War in Iraq

What follows is the most succinct summation of the current situation in Iraq that I’ve come across. From The Washington Post

Last month, in the city of Fallujah in Anbar province, once the nexus of the Sunni insurgency, the newest political player emerged. Leaders of al-Nassir Salah al-Din Army, a Sunni militant group, declared they would renounce violence and form a political party called the National Front of Iraq’s Liberals to compete in elections. “We found out that armed action will not get the United States out of Iraq,” said Majid Ali Enad, the group’s leader. “After five years of directing painful blows to them, they did not budge from a single meter in the country.”

This is why history will be forced to recognize the strength of character of our current Commander-in-Chief.

It also helps that the U.S. military has the best equipment, training, and far away the best people anywhere, bar none. Hooah!

Unwaivering strength is what they understand and the only thing they respect.

Our military is the force for good in this world and we owe them big time.

This also highlights the complete lack of character of liberals.

It reminds me of a conversation I had with a Vietnam vet some time ago. He looked at me and said, “You know the only thing that really makes me mad? They didn’t let us go ahead and win the damn thing.”

The US military can win any war, anywhere, anytime – if only the politicians will let them. Thank goodness they did this time.

the way things work in the REAL world? Seems to me that the Sunnis in this bunch are eminently more teachable than the “reality-based” community has ever been.

McCain commercial? Better yet, every GOP candidate who is running against an America hatting opponent should put this into an add and beat it to death.

This article does lead me to ask- what is liberal by Iraqi standards?

      Democracy.

?When people see a strong horse and a weak horse, by nature they will like the strong horse.?

Spare us from Obama’s sway-backed nag.

I wish I could reccomend it! Straight from the mouths of people who oppose the US.

Isn’t it funny that some of us know instinctively what Big O and his minions can’t understand when it is illustrated in living color?
