    And that 3 points at the end of the first half would have inspired the team to come back and win in the send half?

    It seems to me McConnell would have just kicked the field goal and headed to the locker room. Then maybe somebody would advise him to refuse to take the field for the second half. Or maybe they just take the field and play a regulation game of football, and lose.

      The back room deals are not fooling anyone. But I’m not sure the GOP would actually be able to make the interception and run it all the way back.

        This is the worst piece of legislation in the past 20 years and will destroy our health care system if it passes.

        It is time to fight to win and yes, make a few enemies.
        I don’t think the party understands how much the public absolutely despises their weak, mild mannered ‘obstruction’.

        Perhaps, what needs to be done, is to vote most of the incumbents out of office. Maybe they’ll get the message.

          I’d rather a boneheaded play or five than have players disregarding the rules with flagrant fouls alfly. Facemasks, chop blocks, tripping, eye poking…good times! We’ll be the winningest losers ever!

    The lame, worthless, pathetic, etc, Legislators now plan on running from DC just in time to get them home for Christmas Day… DON’T LET THEM!!! Anyone and everyone anywhere near DC should offer up their Christmas Eve and commit to driving around and tie-up all the roadways into DC area Airports in order to stall and jam up traffic SO BAD that they miss their Flights!

    People with especially old vehicles, any of those Clunkers not previously traded in under CA$H FOR CLUNKERS should (without any special markings of protest to identify you for what you are doing if you do this) should just happen to BREAK DOWN in the middle of the roadways! Others could, should, just drive around SLOWLY, Stop at the traffic lights at the first sign of it switching to Yellow and not starting back off on your way into well after it is Green — be prepared for alot of angry looks and/or gestures, of course, but make those clowns miss their flight. While still others with very easily identifiable, providing the plausible deniability to those of the other tactics ;-) nod lol, with vehicles all decked out in your finest TEApeat protest signage could take turns pulling into and out of Parking spaces in the Parking areas, lots, decks, right up front to tie up the flow of traffic preventing people from Parking…. Oh wait, that last part won’t work, obviously, because the Legislators will be in chauffeur driven Metro Cars – but you can perhaps tie up traffic endlessly parading around the Airport Drop-Off zones and the like.

        you know… some “Hardware Store” Van would “accidentally” run into the curb and the side door would “accidentally” (somehow) fling open and some Star-nails would “just happen” to have been in the back and “coincidentally” spill across the entire roadway causing countless vehicles to all have multiple flat tires all at the same time completely shutting down the roadway as help was brought in to cleanup the roadway and to assist all the motorists with fhose flat tires.

        Not a “suggestion,” of courrse, at all…. Just sayin’ if this were Lefty-loon Union (or Chicago) THUG tactics…. The only person suggesting others adopt Leftist tactics, though, is the former Uber-Leftist Horowitz (below)

This was a tactic of Libs during Reagan with AIDS DIE IN sessions claiming Reagan was killing people ?- HOROWITZ IS RIGHT IN THAT THIS IS FAIR TURNAROUND AS THESE SHOCK TACTICS GET COVERAGE!

        Be sure not to bother to tie-up traffic until after the Vote tomorrow and they are heading for the Airport. Or those not in DC area, make sure you know what flight your Representatives are coming in on and making your presence known at your local Airports for their Arrivals.

    Believe me, I already checked the calendar. It is not April 1, although this is one of the most tragically funny jokes I have heard in a long time!

        I just saw Talking Points on O’Reilly Factor tonight. Monica Crowley termed Obamacare just like fruitcake, in that it is something the giver thinks the recipient will enjoy greatly, but that the recipient does not want. So, I propose that we all order fruitcake to be sent to each Democrat that voted for this bill. We need to find the cheapest fruitcake on the net and send plenty of orders of fruitcake to their offices. Anyone with me? This is similar to the pork rinds send to Schumer and the balls sent to McConnell.
