    This is pretty funny…!

I’m glad that you liked it. When I first saw it, I laughed so hard that I couldn’t see straight. And, I think that we all could probably use a good laugh about now. :-)

There is always a grain of truth in good humor. 3 lobsters!

    3 Lobsters

The lobsters are so cute. I love that you always leave me lobsters. :-)

After I’d been on RedState a short while I wanted to award ‘gold stars’ for noteworthy entries, diaries and/or comments as an acknowledgement of the ‘above the ordinariness’ of the entry.

I’m not sure when but I’m guessing that RedState 1.0(?) had a 1 to 5 rating system which let you scale your approbation(which explains the 5s and 555 et.al.) the ‘Recommend’ came with only the recommend/don’t recommend option, which was in effect with RedState 2.0. This was probably a response to recommendation inflation (like grade inflation where everybody gets an ‘A’)! RedState 3.0 came with the new improved ‘unrecommend’ option (thank you!) allowing fumble fingered people like me the option of undoing an error either in keyboarding or judgment!

Sometimes a recommendation is a bit over the top and you can’t recommend someone’s comment. Sometimes one comment buried somewhere in the threads is worth recommending because the reply to the original premise elevates the discussion of the premise to a noteworthy level. Maybe we need a feature that allows us to rate replies!

Anyway……being from Maine and having a French Canadian Yankee sense of humor, I decided to replace stars with lobsters and the rest, as ‘they’ say, is history(enter gales of barely suppressed laughter here)!

I’ve awarded lobsters to many posters here! $peciallist, AChance,E Pluribus Unum and others have been awarded lobsters! I actually read a jaw dropping diary entry and had to quickly work up a 20 lobster image! I think I gave that one to $peciallist but it was a while back, memory failing…old age ya ‘know, not like you young people! 8-)

(Is RedState 2.0 officially part of the Paleozoic Era??)

Anyway, we are going to need a great sense of humor and an unfailing faith in God to get us through the next few years! Any occasion to get at least a chuckle will add to our longevity!

Clinging to my Guns And Bible!

Speciallist, did I ever tell you how much I love all of your pictures? They are all so good. :-)

        • Susannah

I like your lobster system. I totally makes sense to me.

Oh, and I agree with you that a great sense of humor will definitely make the next four years a bit easier to swallow.

Highly recommended. That video was F-U-N-N-Y funny.

Now how can I top lobsters? :)

          • Susannah

We all know that lobsters are hard to top. However, if I could make you laugh, then hey, that’s just as good. :-)

          • From_ME_to_you

is with drawn butter lightly infused with garlic!
            cooked lobsters

Lobsters are best when steamed not boiled!

          • From_ME_to_you

That should read “The best way to top lobsters…”NOT “lobster’s”!

            Need more coffee!!!!
