Happiness is Contagious…..[Open Thread]

I literally cannot watch this video without feeling a huge smile spread across my face. Maybe it’s the wonderful song from “The Sound of Music” playing that brings back fond memories from childhood. Maybe it’s the way a few people dancing inspires the surrounding community in the Belgian train station to temporarily forget their troubles and join along in the fun. Who knows. Enjoy and, for a moment, smile and forget your cares.

Oh, one more thing. This video has reminded me of the importance of smiling at people and of being kind to strangers–after all, there are more things in life that bring us together than there are things that separate us.

    The video kind of reminds me of the dude from Australia, Matt Harding, who went around the world dancing, He even got a sponsor, Stride gum.

      Oh, and I loved that video with Matt Harding too. I remember posting it in a diary on RS when it came out, but then I found out that Moe had posted it in an open thread first.

      And yes, this video also reminded me of the Matt Harding video–which is probably part of the reason why I like it so much.

    double dial-up aint that fast, but because I’m caught up I decided to download, and I have to thank you Miss Susannah for the little slice of Heaven.
    It made me sooo happy that the fourth time I watched it I just had to get up and start singing and dancing to it, wich promptly got my ole lady ticked at me and yelling at me about my age, and how I’m to old to be dancing like that.
    I told her to go watch her Monk videos and leave me alone to my happiness.
    I had no excuse for the fifth time I danced to this because, like most of the male of our species, I thought I knew what I was doing, and broke her lamp while mimicing the dancers. They obviously have more room to dance in a train station than I have in my front room.
    The lamp will cost me $50, but it is worth it, because joy is priceless.
