Fox News' Shephard Smith Hits New Heights of Jackassery In Response to Gov. Bobby Jindal's "All Lives Matter" Reference

It’s unbelievable what passes as journalism and who is allowed to get their smug mugs on the TV screen every day, in order to feed a steady diet of pomposity and personal opinion, masquerading as “news” to the public.

One of the more obnoxious TV news trolls is Fox News’ Shephard Smith. His sense of self-importance is only dwarfed by the idiocy of some of his statements in regards to breaking news in the world.

His latest came during an interview with former Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, as they discussed the shooting of police officers in Baton Rouge today.

As Jindal spoke, he said, “It is time for folks across party lines, across ideological lines, to condemn this violence, condemn this insanity. We’ve got to come together. We’ve got to say that all lives matter. It doesn’t matter what color you are; black, white, brown, red. It doesn’t matter. All Lives Matter. We’ve got to protect and value our police.”

Showing nads of marshmallows, Smith immediately launched into a white-knuckle response, questioning the governor’s usage of the term, “all lives matter.”

It would be laughable, if not for the fact that the man was serious.

At some point, we have to question the rationale in allowing complete idiots to report the news.
