Remember when Stupak held out for that executive order against Fed abortion funding?
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | July 14th at 02:06 PM |
Obama’s exectuive order has been effectively rendered a useless piece of paper. Washington, DC (LifeNews.com) – The Obama administration has officially approved the first instance of taxpayer funded abortions under the new national government-run health care program. This is the kind of abortion funding the pro-life movement warned about when Congress considered the bill. The Obama Administration will give Pennsylvania $160 million to set up | Read More »
The NAACP vs. Black Americans
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | July 14th at 12:00 PM |
The NAACP has made it official: The Tea Party is racist. The attacks are driven by nothing but fear – the Democrats are terrified of the results of the November elections, and are in a visible tizzy. Black voters aren’t nearly as revved up without Barack Obama on the ballot, and stirring up racial tensions turns out Black voters, which helps Democrats. I reckon they | Read More »
Financial Regs Bill/Affirmative Action all in one!
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | July 9th at 05:32 PM |
I haven’t figured out why no one is really talking about this yet, so here goes. The Dodd-Frank financial regulation bill, which passed on June 30th, is a mess. As is anything that has “Dodd” and “financial regulations” in the title. Liberty Central did a grat breakdown of some of the issues with this bill here. However, it’s this part that I want to highlight: Did | Read More »
Obama Stumping for Harry Reid…
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | July 9th at 03:30 PM |
Harry Reid is clearly in trouble, and now Obama is strengthening his presence in Nevada. His poll numbers haven’t been above the low 40′s in ages, and most of the polling shows Sharron Angle ahead. The Senate Majority Leader seat currently held by Reid is a symbolic one, and would be particularly painful for the Democrats to lose in November. In 2004, Tom Daschle became | Read More »
Killing white babies is okay… in context.
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | July 9th at 12:18 AM |
At this point, most of you have heard about the New Black Panther Philadelphia leader King Samir Shabazz and his awful tirade against the “crackers” and their babies. For those of you that missed it, here’s the video. You’d think that would be a pretty easy thing to denounce, right? I mean, who could really support a man like this? Oh, right! The Attorney General | Read More »
RNC Struggles With Fundraising
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | July 6th at 07:00 PM |
So the RNC is struggling with fundraising. First reaction: It’s the economy, stupid. The problem is that it’s not. From the Washington Times: Under Mississippi Gov. Haley Barbour, the Republican Governors Association reported $18.9 million for the April-through-June period — which it says is its largest fundraising quarter ever. Even though it helped finance winning gubernatorial election campaigns in Virginia and New Jersey in November, the RGA | Read More »
What We Can Learn From Yesterday’s Primary
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | June 23rd at 03:47 PM |
Yesterday was a glorious one for the movement. Nikki Haley won in South Carolina – which really wasn’t a surprise. Gresham Barrett embarrassed himself by even staying in the race, but I suppose it was even more entertaining that way. Utah was a less certain situation. In the absence of any credible polling, no one really had a handle on how either candidate was doing. | Read More »
On the ground in Utah for Mike Lee
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | June 21st at 02:53 PM |
FreedomWorks PAC has taken a lot of flack from the Bridgewater minions for being here in Utah for the last couple days before the primary. Apparently, we’re the evil DC establishment that is invading the pure, uncorrupted Utah political process. Here’s the thing – we’re here mobilizing activists from the ranks of our own membership in Utah (about 4,000 total). Tim Bridgewater is the Bob | Read More »
Was Bridgewater behind the nasty mailing that cost Mike Lee an outright victory?
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | June 14th at 04:30 PM |
Via FreedomWorks: Nearly two weeks ago, The Salt Lake Tribune broke a story about a controversial mailing that may have cost Republican Senate Candidate Mike Lee an outright victory for the nomination at the recent state party convention. The mailing, sent to Republican Convention Delegates who would soon be selecting the party nominee for U.S. Senate, used LDS temple imagery (a veritable taboo in Utah | Read More »
TN State Rep: “You have to lift up their skirts to see if they’re women.”
By: Tabitha Hale (Diary) | June 14th at 11:10 AM |
Democrats hate women. Rep. Janis Baird Sontany (D-53) said of female Republican state legislators, “You have to lift their skirts to find out if they are women. You sure can’t find out by how they vote!” …Because all women are supposed to vote the same way? So much for thinking for yourselves and letting women make “choices.” It’s like pretending that all black people are | Read More »
