Post 9-11 – World of Fear – Living on Edge!
A little rag tag group of not more than nineteen airplane hijackers, directed by one evil mastermind from a remote cave in north eastern Afghanistan, terrorized America on September 11, 2001 and literally sent shock waves through the world community that reverberated all the way from New York to Bombay and back! These shock waves set off a scare that hijacked the whole world, and has | Read More »

TSA Says “Security is Not Optional” . . . But Apparently the Constitution Is
Potentially, a government is the most dangerous threat to man’s rights: it holds a legal monopoly on the use of physical force against legally disarmed victims. -Ayn Rand When President Obama said he wanted a civilian security force as well funded and supplied as our military, what was he talking about? It seems he was thinking about Big Sis and her department. With the TSA, | Read More »

There was an obvious sense of worry and even in many cases, outright panic – and for good reason. 9/11 killed thousands of innocent Americans going about their daily lives. It would change America forever. I just hoped it wouldn’t change the essence of who we were. Unfortunately, it | Read More »

Read it and tell me what you think the takeaway was from your average TSA security screener? Sen. Chris Dodd (D): airport screenings for explosives doubleplusungood.
In fairness, that money was just sitting there, all fat, dumb and happy, and practically begging to be misappropriated to some domestic pork program. Besides, how was Dodd supposed to know that international terrorists would come up with the novel idea of using explosives to try to blow up airplanes? Now that our attention is focused on airline security measures thanks to the failed airline | Read More »
In the U.K. Sun today was a story about 25 British born Muslims who have been in jihad training camps in Yemen. Apparently they were radicalized in mosques in Britain. Then they went for terrorist training in Yemen and are due to return to Britain in 2010. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/news/article2785733.ece Apparently the authorities are completely aware what these guys are up to. Is sedition not a crime in Britain? | Read More »
