You can expect to see some variant of this in ads over the next month. The first bit is from 2010: it shows then-Representative Bruce Braley pretty much backing the President to the hilt – and, to be fair: in 2010 that wasn’t such a bad strategy in Iowa. Back then people liked Barack Obama – well, more accurately they liked who they thought | Read More »
“If you like your Ebola free United States, you can keep your Ebola free United States” could be another Barack Obama promise. Just another in the long time of promises with, as Jim Geraghty of National Review has noted, comes with an expiration date. This one set on September 20, 2014, when the Ebola patient arrived in Dallas carrying the disease. Since then, the Obama | Read More »
Have you noticed the Republicans have given up a concentrated effort against Obamacare? They have. It is barely on the radar. More and more stories come out every day about how close races are across the country. More and more stories come out about tightening polls. More and more races the GOP must win to take back the Senate seem to be slipping away from | Read More »
Trailing Gov. Andrew Cuomo by nearly 25 points and unable to get New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, head of the Republican Governors Association, to help him take on Cuomo, Westchester County Executive Rob Astorino nukes Gov. Cuomo with a remake of LBJ’s infamous “Daisy” ad: The ad’s message, as stated by a narrator is, “These are the stakes. Do we reelect a governor who may end up in jail?” The ad means | Read More »
Whether some conservatives like to admit it or not, President Barack H. Obama is the President of the United States and is therefore my President and the President of any American now reading this. For those of you who bristle at this, go see Hebrews 13:17; 1 Timothy 2:1-15; Romans 13:1; and 1 Peter 2:17. Keep in mind Paul and Peter were both about to | Read More »
Imagine a safe, one used to store important papers, extreme valuables, or even guns. When we put our things into a safe, to keep things secure against a determined thief. It’s very important they aren’t able to get in and take these things, so we ensure our safes are very difficult to open without authorization. The idea that we’d have a secret back door that could be exploited to gain unauthorized access, perhaps by the manufacturer, bypassing our control of the lock, would be unthinkable.
This is a follow up to my post yesterday. Via the Army Times: The 1st Infantry Division headquarters will deploy to Iraq in the coming weeks as the U.S. expands its war against the Islamic State, officials announced Thursday. The Big Red One, of Fort Riley, Kansas, will be the first division headquarters to go to Iraq since the U.S. withdrawal in 2011. About 500 | Read More »
It’s not exactly a story you’d see out of a media that seems to be going all-in for Hillary otherwise, but it’s one I’d gladly accept: “I support what they are doing,” Clinton said in the interview Wednesday, referring to her former colleagues in the Obama administration. “I personally believe the way they have thought this through and planned it and limited our involvement, avoids | Read More »
Eric Holder is going to resign his position as Attorney General News is just coming across the wire. Holder has been Obama’s friend and companion for six years. He has relentlessly screwed up most everything he has touched. He has overseen a Department of Justice that has been complicit in killing American border patrol agents and covering up abusive government. In the vernacular of the | Read More »
I need not elaborate on the ridicule that the American public heaped upon President Obama for describing the Islamic State as “un-Islamic”, and much as I agree with said ridicule, I can understand the logic of the decision. After all, one tactic for fighting your enemies is to call the not the true representatives of their ideology, country, religion, and so on. Still, I am | Read More »
I was alone among my friends when it came to the ad below. It is called “The Woman Who Made Up Her Mind.” The ad was produced by “Better Together,” the campaign that argued against Scottish independence. The ad features a mother sitting at the kitchen table talking about her worries, her family, and her children’s future. The ad was spoofed, pilloried, and derided around | Read More »
Presumably this group will be deploying in flip-flops so they won’t constitute “boots on the ground”: As the U.S. expands its war against the Islamic State, the Army is preparing to deploy a division headquarters to Iraq. Officials have not identified the division that will deploy — the first division headquarters to go to Iraq since the U.S. withdrawal in 2011. An official announcement is | Read More »
Barack Obama is a lying, cheating, no-good, paranoid manipulator who keeps telling you that he’s going to change, but never does. And his friends are just as bad… but you can do something about his friends.
