Shelly Moore’s (D CAND, WI-SEN) UNETHICAL recall freeloading.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | June 22nd at 01:00 PM |
Before we go any further, let’s establish something right now. As this complaint from the WI GOP shows (see more here), Shelly Moore was well aware that she was not supposed to be using her school account to coordinate and encourage both the Big Labor protests earlier in the year and recall efforts against Wisconsin Senators (particularly since she ended up being the Democratic candidate | Read More »
Dozens of Republicans Vote for Handouts to Big Labor
By: Daniel Horowitz (Diary) | June 14th at 12:44 PM |
Yesterday, the House passed the largely non-controversial Military Construction/Veterans Affairs Appropriations (MilCon) bill for FY 2012. Unfortunately, it is these non-controversial bills which provide a safe haven for meretricious policy initiatives through the rapid fire amendment process. While everyone was focused on presidential politics, the House passed an amendment forcing government contractors to use labor unions on federal construction projects. Good News / Bad News for Debbie Wasserman Schultz!
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | May 26th at 07:12 PM |

The bill passed 74-40, despite the rather strenuous objections of Big Labor: a similar bill (SB 830) is making its way | Read More »

By: LaborUnionReport (Diary) | September 13th at 05:00 PM |
If you’re a union member, the question posed by the title of this post might initially offend you. However, get past it for a moment and answer this question for yourself: Which do you support more, your union or the United States of America and the freedoms so many fought and died for? You see, it is really coming down to that choice and, in | Read More »
Don’t Blink-Democrats Aren’t Done Killing Jobs Yet
By: Dave Poff (haystack) (Diary) | July 15th at 09:04 PM |
While the Obama Administration takes its victory lap with the Democrats and their Union buddies over the job-killing Financial Reform bill they just passed, a host of other initiatives that would give special favors to Unions are waiting in the wings for the right time to be brought up for consideration. I say special favors because, unbeknownst to most of us, Unions made out like | Read More »
