Political History FAIL
Via RS’s sister site Human Events, it turns out that Speaker Pelosi’s office is working hard to react to yesterday’s strong, principled, and unanimous opposition to the Obama/Pelosi/Reid debt bill. The only problem is, knowledge of political history seems pretty limited in Pelosi’s circles, which is pretty bad since she was in office when the relevant events happened! In other words, she’s wrong, and she’s | Read More »
Senate Judiciary Committee Approves Holder – Only Two Conservatives Said No
The Senate Judiciary Committee hours ago voted 17-2 to approve the nomination of Eric Holder to be the next Attorney General. A floor vote on his nomination is expected for next week. The only two Conservative stalwarts voted no: John Cornyn (R-TX); and Tom Coburn (R-OK). Eric Holder, former Deputy Attorney General for President Bill Clinton, has taken actions that disqualify him from Senate consent to be the next Attorney General of | Read More »

Remind Me Again . . .
Who thought it would be a good idea to bring the Clintons back in the tent again?Ah yes, I remember now. That would be our President-elect, now wouldn’t it? Anyone who thinks that these kinds of embarrassments will come to an end merely because Bill Clinton will now have his speech-making dates, venues and subject matter reviewed by a State Department ethics board either doesn’t | Read More »
Is a terrorist attack on America imminent?
As I type, the death toll in the Mumbai attacks stands at 195 souls. The Mumbai terrorists have raised the stakes with these attacks, using well trained and coordinated attack teams to carry out their bloody mission. As Bill Roggio writes: The Mumbai attack is unique from past terror strikes carried out by Islamic terrorists. Instead of one or more bombings at distinct sites, the | Read More »
Obama: Billions for Pork Barrel Earmarks
Barack Obama used his weekly radio address today to promise prompt action on a massive economic stimulus package: President-elect Barack Obama said Saturday that he had started work on a sustained, two-year economic stimulus plan designed to create or save 2.5 million jobs, funnel money toward public works programs to repair the country’s failing infrastructure and invest in alternative energy programs. Mr. Obama’s plan, which | Read More »
A racist secretary of state?
For 18 months, the Obama campaign intentionally, explicitly and repeatedly accused Bill and Hillary Clinton of personal racism and resorting to racist campaign tactics. Does anyone remember the “picture darkening” accusations? This was picked up and parroted by Obama supporters, the blogosphere, the MSNBC/CNN/Olbermann/Matthews wing of the main stream media, and various political figures. It is now accepted as gospel in the black community.
Barack Obama’s Real Opposition
The Wall Street Journal throws a dash of cold water on the celebrations of The One, and gives him a stark reminder of the real threats to his campaign promises and his re-election in 2008: David Obey. The Appropriations Chairman wants to slash defense spending as a money grab for more social programs and entitlements. Fellow spender Barney Frank recently added that a military budget | Read More »

Clintons Campaign for Murtha
OK – I am up late watching Fox News and I just saw a report that the Clinton’s are campaigning for Murtha this weekend. Looks like things aren’t looking tjat good for Murtha…See here, here, here and (well you get the drift I really love the blatant partisanship and phoniness that the Hill & Bill Show still bring to the table. I have since lost | Read More »
Do we really want change?
A few issues I have not heard on the news. In defense of George Bush and John McCain, I believe these issues should be heard. Obama is placing blame on the current administration about a world credit crisis which even Alan Greenspan just testified has been cultivating for thirty years. If the Bush republican administration is to be blamed for this, what about the false | Read More »
Did Bill Clinton Help of Hurt Barack Obama?
I found this quote from Bill Clinton odd when he campaigned for Barack Obama recently down in Florida: I haven’t cleared this with him and he may even be mad at me for saying this so close to the election, but I know what else he said to his economic advisers (during the crisis),” Clinton told the crowd at a Wednesday night rally with Obama | Read More »
John McCain & Sarah Palin are Naturalized Citizens
Democrats Have Time to Choose New President Elect. To all Hillary supporters, there is time to do several things to help. Here are several things to do:1. Call your government representatives – tell them to ask Obama to step down. When Berg filed the suit against Obama, Obama merely did his Attorney shuffle and asked for dismissal instead of bringing forth important documentation requested by | Read More »
Aching To Be A Spoiler
Once again, let’s ask whether the Clintons really want Barack Obama to win this election: HILLARY CLINTON, Barack Obama’s defeated opponent in the Democratic primary, has infuriated his supporters by praising Sarah Palin, the Republican vice-presidential candidate, for her performance in last week’s television debate. “It is amazing, you know, she’s been thrust in the spotlight with very little national preparation and I think, all | Read More »
The Problem with the Financial Crisis in America
The problem with the financial crisis in America is not that it happened, but rather that we are trying to fix it the way we created it. The crisis was objectively caused by bad loans, the abundance of credit, and the plummet in home prices. Well, how do we get a plummet in home prices?
