ITIN de facto amnesty empowers Obama IRS to buy votes
Outraged that illegal aliens claimed child-tax-credits, but no outrage that current tax law allows them to report income and pay taxes without threat of deportation? The power of a president to succumb to the temptation to use executive power for political purposes has always been available. That the current occupant of the Oval Office is so uniquely brazen in betraying the trust inherent in the | Read More »
Eric Holder’s Biggest Fan
The eruption of alleged malfeasance by the Attorney General of the United States Eric Holder should not be a surprise to anyone. This man was a deeply flawed candidate for the post and was cheered on by Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar. This is not a tale of guilt by association or partisan sniping. This is a post about the questionable judgment exhibited by Klobuchar during | Read More »

He just might. But if he lends his name to | Read More »
Let us recap the Gerald Walpin situation.
We can begin with this video, which goes over the basic points: Short version: Walpin was investigating Obama crony’s involvement in an AmeriCorps-related scandal involving misappropriation of funding. Case was settled, to the mild detriment of crony*. Walpin disagreed with settlement. Complaint made against him. So far, this is all he-said, he-said.
Demanding a better Senator for Iowa” is the motto of this site and it does the job well through posts like this one. Note that Grassley’s over-reliance on corn ethanol and his support for a tariff on imported sugar cane ethanol is much the same position as the one taken by his fellow Senator, Barack Obama. This comparison is not meant to be flattering.
