Russian Leaders Look Forward to a Good Ole Soviet Style Rolling of Obama
There are only two Americans in the last century that the Russians truly came to fear. Ronald Reagan and George S. Patton. What Reagan and Patton understood, communicated; and in the case of Reagan, acted upon, was the idea that the Russians not only respect true strength but those who show the ability to use that strength to achieve just means.

Loose Lips Sink Ships (Feinstein D-CA torpedoes Pakistan)… why Democrats cannot be entrusted with US Security
It would appear that the following Posters need to be put up all over Washington DC to remind Democrats that “Loose Lips Can Cost Lives” and while the old saying used to also have a “Loose Lips Sink Ships” variety – today it is “Loose Lips Will Ground Predators.” And to think these fools think it will be fine-and-dandy to have Trials for Terrorists in | Read More »

Obama’s Stealth Defense Cuts
Late last night we asked “Is Obama preparing to cut the defense budget?” All we had to work with at the time were personal observations by some who had seen a Fox News report that the president had asked the Pentagon to slash defense spending by 10%. The story had not yet been posted on the FNC website at that late hour.
This is so ’90s
Fox News is reporting that President Obama met with senior military aides and told them to reduce spending for FY2010 by a little more than 10%. To put this in perspective, the Defense Budget, along with the other components of the President’s Budget is submitted to Congress next week. The military takes about 15 months to analyze requirements, determine the costs, prioritize and edit the | Read More »
Is Obama preparing to cut the defense budget?
Ace says he saw it on Fox News, but at this hour, there’s nothing about it on the FNC website. The best source Ace could find is the pay-per-view site InsideDefense.com NewsStand, the services of which I haven’t paid to view. But there’s been considerable speculation that Obama will make cuts in defense. In fact, he has promised to do so. If he intends to | Read More »
Next Target in the Obama Crosshairs—the U.S. Defense Budget (Updated Version)
When your ideological opponent is Obama and the liberal body politic, it isn’t hard to predict the next move on the Chess board. With passage of the House Stimulus Bill, the Senate will be next to vote on the measure. And vote they will, leaving the house bill largely in tact, and the Obama/Pelosi/Reid Stimulus Bill becoming law. Soon after, more spending bills will be | Read More »
Murtha: Defense Spending Under ‘Severe Pressure’
John Murtha warns that defense cuts are coming: Faced with immense pressure to trim its budget, the Pentagon should cut enlistment bonuses to military personnel, end its reliance on emergency supplemental spending and get serious about reforming its acquisition processes, a top congressional appropriator said Wednesday. “What I’m saying is, there’s going to be less defense spending,” House Defense Appropriations Subcommittee Chairman John Murtha, D-Pa., | Read More »
A Different Attempt at a Civil Discussion of the Social Issues
Staunch_Libertarian wrote a post earlier that attempted to discuss, in a civil fashion, social issues and the conservative movement. However, the attempt got off to a shaky start, when s/he stated: The three-legged stool is falling apart, and in my opinion the social conservatives are the most divisive leg. I wish to do two things here. One, I want to articulate why I don’t think | Read More »
Little Misguided Congeniality
Gorby has decided to weigh in on the election like a Little Misguided Congeniality.www.foxnews.com/politics/2008/11/27/gorbachev-looks-forward-new-policy-obama/ He tells us that we need to improve relations with Russia by urging “Obama to muster his courage” and reconsider the decision to station missile defense sites in Poland and the Czech Republic.” We shouldn’t take it personal that about five minutes after the election “Russian President Dmitry Medvedev threatened to | Read More »
And The Netroots Will Explode In 5, 4, 3, 2 . . .
1. Of course, I have to believe that if Barack Obama did not actually believe that the surge overseen by Secretary Gates really has been successful, he would not have consented to keep the Secretary on. By agreeing to retain Secretary Gates at the Pentagon, the President-elect has not-too-subtly endorsed the very surge and counterinsurgency efforts he spent time denouncing on the campaign trail. Republicans on OFFENSE v. MI Dem Speaker of the House
Cross-posted on Right Michigan at www.RightMichigan.com. 2006 we were hit with a Democratic tsunami. Heck, we all lived through it and it was pretty darn nasty. Nationwide not a single Democrat incumbent running for a Governor’s seat, a seat in the United States Senate or to Congress lost. Not one. A lot of folks are looking at 2008 and saying “here we go again,” and | Read More »
Gut the military! 25% cut coming…
It has long been understood in conservative circles that the real reason for Obama’s desire to wave the white flag and flee Iraq (and Afghanistan) was to shift those billion$ towards his long socialist agenda. Having been on the receiving end of the “coldwar peace dividend” and the 1990’s demolition of our Armed Forces, I have long suspected that a similiar gutting of defense would | Read More »
Joe Biden’s Fantasy Life
Anyone who has listened to Joe Biden must be wondering if Dems have their own Dan Quayle, but of course, we know that’s just not possible because Democrats are smart. They may say stupid, ignorant or insulting things sometimes, but we all know that they’re really intelligent. Just ask them, they’ll tell you. As that’s an undisputed fact backed up by the media, we must | Read More »
Can we afford an upcoming Obama “$urrender doctrine/dividend?”
October 2008, Joe Biden: “Mark my words. It will not be six months before the world tests Barack Obama like they did John Kennedy. The world is looking… Watch, we’re going to have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy.” Suggested RNC reply Ad (YouTube) at end of this article. Frankly, depending on the crisis and where it occurs, | Read More »

So, Obama looks inevitable ? Then welcome back Carter days.
Yes, I have seen the media full of glee, so I can only make the connection that Obama is riding up in the polls. Ok, so Obama is elected; what next ? I’ll take one thing. Energy. Although Obama has seem to have been a proponent of offshore drilling recently, that does not mesh with statements in the primary nor any of his Senate actions. | Read More »
