Follow Up Post
I want to follow up on my previous post about the Conservative Movement. I didn’t mean to say that Conservative views should be left at the front door; and I never said we should rethink our free market system or our foreign policy. In fact I’m probably more hawkish than most RedState members. My views overall have been one of a more centrist approach. I | Read More »
Suggestion for a Fun Red State Contest
I have an idea for a RS contest. I think the Democrat’s donkey symbol has outlived his usefulness. In an attempt to help our friends on the left, I propose a contest to come up with a new animal symbol, mascot, or what ever you want to call it. I think our fellow RS’ers, knowing how creative they can be, could PhotoShop the Democrats up | Read More »
Question Of The Day
Think many private citizens would have the kind of powerful friends that Charlie Rangel does if those private citizens were also tax scofflaws?
9th time’s the charm… Dems finally find their far-left liberal
Cross-posted on Right Michigan at www.RightMichigan.com. Deborah Thomas wanted the nod but no one outside the convention hall wanted any of her. Marietta Robinson was courted hard, went to Europe, issued a statement that convinced everyone she was in then returned to the United States, did a little digging and ran far and fast from ballot. There’s another Hathaway out there who was interviewed but | Read More »
Republicans: More Trusted On National Security Issues
So sayeth this poll. The “Greenberg” in Greenberg, Quinlan Rosner is Stan Greenberg, who is no one’s idea of a Republican pollster. This ought to terrify the Obama campaign.
MI Morning Update
58 Days until Election Day September 7, 2008 QUOTE OF THE DAY: "What’s the difference between Sarah Palin and Barack Obama?" "One is a well turned-out, good-looking, and let’s be honest, pretty sexy piece of eye-candy. The other kills her own food." The Times Online UK article MORNING UPDATE: "I NEED MICHIGAN TO WIN"…said John McCain at the rally on Friday. We have a great | Read More »
Palin Provides The Bounce; McCain Outdraws Obama In TV Audience
McCain had a 4.8/7 share to Obama’s 4.3/7. In other words Sarah Palin almost beat Obama and McCain did. Also Real Clear Politics averages shows with the Palin speech factored in the races are in a statistical dead heat 47 Obama and 43.8. Further making the messiah soil his pants is that he is now below 50% to 48% in people believing he is experienced | Read More »
Obama’s on the run
B. H Obama is on the defensive. His thin qualifications, no matter how propped up by the Democratic machine are beginning to look thread bear. He is of the system of which he protests change. He is a product of the establishment looking for a puppet with a Clinton smile. He is smart enough to know where his bread is buttered, at the though. Expect | Read More »
Larry Kudlow: There’s Something Missing in St. Paul
Larry Kudlow nails it, again. As much as I love Palin’s speech Kudlow correctly points out that it failed to connect our current economic slump to rising energy costs which are as a direct result of failed Democrat policy. In fact, Democrats want higher energy prices and seek to tax our companies through cap and trade which would crush our economy.
Call for boycott of Wenner media products, including US Weekly
Courtesy of Drudge, covers for two different issues of US Weekly illustrate the great divide between the RNC brand and the DNC brand when it comes to mainstream media. One cover shows a glowing Sen. Barack Obama and his wife Michelle—“Why Barack Loves Her.” The other shows Gov. Sarah Palin holding her newborn—“Babies, Lies and Scandal.” Fellow women who aren’t enamored of the DNC brand, | Read More »
All Shook Up
Democrats sure are angry this election year. We seen glimpses of it during the primary where they basically assassinated Hillary and Bill Clinton’s character and drew rifle fire upon them. There’s this sense of power driven anger that I’m seeing from not only the party itself but from the leftist blogs. In part well, they have their Jesus Christ. So they’re going to get fired | Read More »
More Milwaukee Voter Fraud… Guess What Party?
Milwaukee has discovered some more voter fraud with 10 more voter registration workers are being investigated by Wisconsin authorities. Fittingly, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel covered the story in its paper on August 29. Unfittingly, the Journal Sentinel forgot one, tiny aspect of the story… that the voter fraud was perpetrated by Democrats. In fact, one of the organizations, ACORN, is intimately linked with Barack Obama. | Read More »
Democrats and the Plantation Syndrome
It really doesn’t surprise me that the Democrats/Liberals are pulling out all the stops to smear Gov. Palin. This has been going on for years, and there are particular groups of people that are specially targeted by the Left when they break from Liberal doctrine. These groups include African-Americans, women, and some others to a lesser extent. Why are these groups targets of the Democrats, | Read More »
My Response to Ben Smith’s Response To Me
You can see his response here. He claims my headline is misleading because I identify “Democrats” as releasing the information. if he knows that Democrats released it, he has better sources than I do. Who among you really believes a Republican did it? He then writes e Social Security umber is missing its last four digits. That is, it’s already been redacted, in an apparent | Read More »
