Fear grips the Obama campaign worker

This will likely be my last post before Election Day. I have company coming into town, and won’t be near a computer (other than my iPhone Neil, hint hint). I found this over at American Thinker, posted by Thomas Lifson. Now this is obviously third hand, but I’m comfortable that the chain of custody for the letter is honestly reported, given the reputations of those | Read More »

    Behaviour Control

Junior Senator Barack Obama has an interview where he discusses how his government will be able to get America switched to alternative energy and not use ‘bad’ energy sources. His plan, government designated ‘price points’ to force citizen behaviour to align with his ultimate plan. Well, I guess it would work. In a non free market, non democratic country. It worked great in the Soviet | Read More »

My Thoughts on the Presidential Election

I am not a political expert. I am not a scholar of political history, or history in general for that matter. I am not a skilled writer or debater. I don’t have the humor or style that others here have. I am simply a working mother of two with strong Conservative principles. I do not write diary entries here often, for the reasons stated above. | Read More »

Four signs that McCain will win Florida

Some information from Florida, some of which you already know. 1) By now everyone has heard about early voting here. Dems lead the GOP in early voting 53/30 (not sure on that GOP number) with 1.4 million votes cast. Meanwhile, GOP leads Dems in absentee ballots, 50/30 with 1.2 million received. However, LA Times/Bloomberg polling on already cast votes in Florida, gives McCain a 3 | Read More »

    Defiance, indeed.

    My Prediction for Tuesday

McCain-Palin by 5-10 points. Anyone else? Bah. So much for that. Back to listening to people who know better…

    “250K? Did I say that, I meant $200K”

I didn’t see the infomercial, I had better things to do like clean dirt out of my tires! The clip that I caught is the $200K line, I remember when he clearly stated $250k, I also remember during the saddleback forum when he talked about $150k. There should be a good battleground commercial coming!

    King Obama

This is an article written some time ago. I feel it is time for a review. The possibilities of the outcome of the 2008 Presidential election requires that we revisit the concept proposed. If Barack Obama wins, we may be entering the 8th sequence.

Election 2008: The Ant & The Grasshopper

The Ant & The Grasshopper Two different versions — Two different morals OLD VERSION: The ant works hard in the withering heat all summer long, building his house and laying up supplies for the winter The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away. McCain/Palin’s Pre-Rebuttal to the Infomerical

You can’t blame us for noticing. Anyway, here it is: …and it is telling that I feel safe enough to say that the semantic content of this thirty-second ad is going to be roughly about as high as that of said thirty-minute infomercial. This is not a compliment to the latter. Moe Lane PS: Unlike Hot Air’s comments’ section, I actually like the “yet.” As | Read More »

McCain’s pollster gives us very good news (updated)

Update: Fox news is reporting that Obama’s pollster is confirming the results discussed here. In a memo sent to the Florida ground operation, he confirms that the polls are tightening up and that GOTV operations are critical and in need of resources in Florida, Ohio, North Carolina, and Virginia. He says that resources are less of a problem in Pennsylvania. When contacted by Fox, he | Read More »

I thought Nevada was supposed to be close?

(h/t to the folks at hillaryclintonforum.net) Last I looked at places like 538.com and ElectionProjection, they were calling Nevada either “leans McCain” or “tossup”. But this story in the Las Vegas Review Journal makes that assumption pretty suspect. On the first day of early voting, 62 percent of Clark County voters were Democrats, while 23 percent were Republicans and the rest nonpartisans or members of | Read More »

Politico.com tells us why the media is so pro-Obama!

It’s because they’re nuts, and I mean certifiable. John Harris and Jim Vande Hei of Politico.com try to explain the anti-McCain media bias. They begin by saying that there really isn’t any. They tell us that the first reason is that the McCain campaign sucks while Barry’s soars. They tell us that journalists are professionals who ignore their personal biases and report the news. They | Read More »
