Elections Have Consequences pt. 4
This is my last post of the “Election Have Consequences” series. If you would like to read my other posts they are right here: part 1, part 2, part 3. In part 3 I wrote about republican senate seats up for re-election in 2012, now were going to look at the democrat senate seats up for re-election in 2012; there are 23 democrat seats up | Read More »
Alex Sink (D-FL) spreads more lies
Election time always has me more annoyed than usual. One thing that I have noticed is the tone of the ads used for the months preceding the election. Some candidates run nothing but attack ads, some avoid the crap and just states what their plans are, no matter how far fetched. One candidate that has had me close to the annoyance boiling point has been Alex Sink, | Read More »

People like to pretend otherwise because it’s easier to pass something that’s not called | Read More »
Road to 270 requires FL & OH…McCain needs to be there
No matter what national polls are saying, the presidency is won by electoral votes, and to get to 270, there are two states McCain has to have in his column: Florida and Ohio. (yes, there are other battleground states he needs also, but without FL and OH, it ain’t happening). So…okay, I can see him in Virginia. Important state – not as important as Florida | Read More »
Polls, Polls, Polls
Yesterday, a slew of national and state polls were released to deduce the “convention” bounce. The broad picture is harder to measure than usual. Because the conventions were back-to-back, we don’t have a good reading of the pre-RNC state of the race. The pre-RNC polls were at the peak of the DNC bounce. Thus, it is unsurprising that the RNC bounce has been bigger (+6) | Read More »
