Strictly speaking, neither the speech below – or Charles Loughton’s pitch-perfect recitation of it – are part of the battle itself; Abraham Lincoln made the Gettysburg address in November of 1863. I just don’t care, and I don’t think that anybody else will really care, either. Have a good weekend. Open thread.
