Liberals Want Toy Gun Control Now
Forget about restrictive laws that curtail and limit the purchase, ownership and use of real firearms. Liberals have their eyes set on a new set of guns in need of regulation: toy guns. In the wake of a tragic shooting in Cleveland, Ohio last weekend where a police officer shot and killed a young boy playing with a toy gun, a Democratic state lawmaker is | Read More »

The Only Man Less Open Than Greg Orman Image Credit: Clancco.com Senator Pat Roberts leaves a lot to be desired. He represents McLean, VA quite efficiently. Hi Gov. Hickenlooper, It’s Wednesday, Let’s Talk About Magazine Capacity Bans
As I noted last night, the Denver CBS Affiliate, News 4, ran a story which went into Governor John Hickenlooper’s apology to the Colorado Sheriffs. It was not a good night for the embattled Governor. You can check out the News 4 segment by Shaun Boyd, along with the entire video of the meeting at the News 4 site. The fact that this has broken | Read More »
VIDEO: Embattled, and Exasperated, Gov. Hickenlooper to Colorado Sheriffs: WTF!!
I told you more was coming… I already talked about Hickenlooper’s “half ass” apology to the sheriffs, along with his blatant lies, but this takes the cake. For those without video, or who have small children in the room, what is heard in the video is Governor Hickenlooper apologizing to the sheriffs for not knowing that the sheriffs tried to meet with him while these | Read More »
Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper is Lying.
As posted on Friday evening by Moe Lane, and picked up today by Jazz Shaw over at HotAir, embattled Colorado Governor John Hickenlooper is having some buyer’s remorse on the gun control legislation he and his party foisted upon the people of Colorado. These laws resulted in the historic recall elections last year that ousted the sitting Senate President and an up an coming female Democrat from the liberal stronghold of Pueblo, as well as a resignation from State Senator Evie Hudak.
Governor Hickenlooper is up for reelection this year and has largely lost the thin veneer of a moderate democrat, which, along with a meltdown in the GOP, led to his victory in 2010.

Smart Guns Only: Coming to New Jersey?
In 2002, the New Jersey legislature passed and the governor signed, a handgun law designed to basically ban the sale of the traditional handgun in the state. In its place, one can purchase a so-called smart gun. Although the state would not go so far as to confiscate other handguns from gun owners in the state, their sale would be prohibited by licensed wholesalers and | Read More »
Violence Policy Center Adopts Gibberish As Official Language
The Orwellian named Violence Policy Center is back at it. They are trying to push into circulation a collection of numbers that simply to not mean what the VPC says they mean. In a web feature called “Concealed Carry Killers,” they blame concealed carry permits for 636 deaths, nationwide, between May 2007 and March 2014. This, for the statistically minded, is about 90 fatalities per | Read More »

Comments on Recent Supreme Court Actions
There are four things of interest to come out of the Supreme Court the past few days. Obviously, the first one is the decision allegedly striking down affirmative action in Michigan. It should be mentioned straight up and foremost that the decision did nothing of the sort. The Court upheld the right of the people of Michigan to pass a state constitutional civil rights amendment which prohibited discrimination | Read More »
The Misogyny of John Paul Stevens
Numerous authors and diarists on this site have pointed out the abject hypocrisy of the “War on Women” trope that played no small part in re-electing President Obama to a second term in the White House, noting that the Left is an all-too-frequent perpetrator of its own War on Women. However, a week and a half ago – just shy of the anniversary of the original | Read More »

The Rich Man and Lazarus’s Big Gulp
It is always sad when you realize someone is on the road to hell. There is a sense of foreboding in it. For Christians, we should be fearfully in prayer for others — even our enemies as the Lord tells us. There is no better time than Holy Week to be reminded of that. A great case in point is Mayor Mike Bloomberg. He is | Read More »
