Some Middle East Notes: Muslim Brotherhood Doublespeak, U.S. Involvement in Syria, and More
With the recent events in the Middle East and the continuing question of what, if any, role the U.S. should play, it’s a good idea to stay up to speed on current events in the region. My recent post “A Crisis of Faith in Egypt” was a start, but it’s a sad commentary on the turmoil in the region that, even since then, there is | Read More »

Egypt’s Christians Brutally Attacked – Do We Care?
The news coming out of Egypt is overwhelming. Radical Islamists are targeting Christians.
There are reports that Muslim Brotherhood supporters marked the doors of Christian homes to know which ones to attack during riots. Christian nuns have been paraded through the streets like prisoners of war – a public degradation of humanity. Churches have been indiscriminately burned to the ground – one had to cancel its first service in over 1,600 years. The number of churches attacked in the recent radical Islamic rampage has risen to at least 60 and by some estimates over 100. Christians are being targeted and killed as the world watches in near silence.
Do we care?

Terrorism in America – Fighting an Enemy Whose Name Cannot Be Spoken
While the U.S. was still reeling from the devastation caused by the Boston bombing and before it was known who was responsible for the act, there were those on the left who assumed, even hoped, that it was an act of right-wing terrorism. When their hopes were dashed, they took a detour from grieving for the victims and began instead to focus on, as they | Read More »

RAND Report Reveals Obama Administration’s Intricate Collaboration With The Muslim Brotherhood
The Obama administration has been diligent in employing a strategy of engagement with the Muslim Brotherhood. But, it is the Muslim Brotherhood’s agenda that is the focus of this joint effort, instead of the interests of the United States. This is according to a report done by the RAND Corporation’s National Defense Research Institute, which is a federally funded research and analysis center and is | Read More »
How do you think the spin is going to go when the LSM’s (Lame Stream Media) ‘Chosen One’ sails off to Valhalla, or wherever it is they farm out old worn-out commie ideologues? It occurred to me that the one group that could not find a depth of moral or professional depravity too low to plumb, in order to further the myth that is Barack | Read More »
Tentacles. How Far The Brotherhood’s Reach Into Our Government?
This is alarming and scary stuff and the implications are dire if we don’t wake up. The first thing we have to do is get brutally honest with ourselves. We’ve allowed this country to be lulled by a constant liberal diatribe where Moslems are concerned, or just cowed by what has come to be called Islamophobia. While we’ve been asleep, or just plain unwilling to | Read More »
Anwar Ibrahim’s Western Public Relations Effort Failing?
In the West, we tend to ignore the Muslim countries of Southeast Asia too often in favor of the more rambunctious Middle East; whether this is because we are concentrating our limited energies on the larger problem spot, or ignoring places where things are going well, is probably a function of one’s particular outlook on life. Regardless of the source of this disregard, it is | Read More »
Do Not Give Them Hell, Barry
President Obama has been criticized for lack of support for Libyan rebels. He has also been criticized for not launching a full-scale military operation in support of these rebels. A lesson from the previous century should guide him in deciding how to proceed.

Christians fear for their lives… in Australia! Is America next?
Islamist calls for attacks on Coptic Christians are not confined to Egypt, but extend worldwide, including to expat Copts living in Australia — with passive enabling by Australia’s Labor Party.

The enduring disaster of the Carter Presidency
I just finished a newly-published first person account of events in Iran over roughly a 20 year period between 1970 and 1991 – A Time to Betray by Reza Kahlili. Like similar personal chronicles of survivors of the Holocaust and comparable Twentieth Century atrocities, the depravity and cruelty of the Iranian mullahs with their Revolutionary Guard zealots defies any rationalization. As this aberrant behavior took | Read More »
Answer: Rarely more than One.
(The question, of course, is buried in the rambling mess below. Also, please don’t mistake this as solidified opinion. Aside from being appropriately dismissive of this administration’s pap, this is more of a wandering search…some may say cry for help…to best understand our current situation with the “religion of peace”.) Unfortunately, it appears that on this side of the war with whatever-you-want–to-call-it-that-wants-to-destroy-American-style-freedom-as-we-know-it we are | Read More »
Desperately seeking… a right wing terrorist…
The socialist left in the US seems to be so desperate for someone from the right to go bolshy and blow something up. How desperate are they? Well you would be hard pressed not to think that Bloomberg and various people in the media are disappointed to hear that the person who planted the large bomb in New York City was a Muslim of Pakistani | Read More »
