With Apologies, Yet More on the Radtke Speech

A lot of digital ink has been spilled over the last couple of days here and elsewhere about Jamie Radtke’s speech at the RedState Gathering – more certainly than such an inconsequential event would otherwise merit, but for the Radtke campaign’s decision to somehow make an issue out of RedState. Because Erick was not present for the speech, I thought it incumbent to write up | Read More »

We Have More on Jamie Radtke

Jamie Radtke tells Scott Conroy of Real Clear Politics that she feels it is libelous for observers of her speech to say she was drunk as she says she was not drinking. Okay. Jamie Radtke says she was not drinking and I will believe her. That, friends, makes reports of her performance at the RedState Gathering even more appalling. Regarding Jamie Radtke

UPDATED: As I note here, Jamie Radtke insists through her lawyer and the press that she was not drinking, so you’ll have to ignore the reviews of those spectators who saw her performance and thought she had been. That, of course, raises other questions about her abilities on the campaign trail to give that performance sober. ———————————–I was fortunate not to witness Jamie Radtke’s speech | Read More »

    Economic Armageddon this week

“Barack Obama has warned the United States is on the brink of an ‘economic Armageddon’ — Bloomberg President Obama is right, but for the wrong reason. The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines Armageddon as: the “final and conclusive battle between the forces of good and evil.” President Obama was referring to the potential consequences of not raising the debt ceiling. But in reality it is the very | Read More »

Honor the Debt Limit and Cut Spending Now, not in 2012

By Jamie Radtke, Candidate for U.S. Senate in Virginia I was honored to meet with the House Tea Party Caucus yesterday to discuss the daunting challenges we face as a nation, in particular our spending and our mounting national debt. I told the members that watching the budget debate in Washington lately has made me feel like Alice in “Alice in Wonderland.” Are our leaders | Read More »

Virginia: An Opportunity for America and the GOP

From the Diaries by NS The recent decision by Virginia Senator Jim Webb not to run for reelection was a gift to Republicans. While it is disappointing that we will not be able to give him the electoral defeat he had coming, it guarantees that Jim Webb will no longer be a reliable vote for the Democrats’ disastrous agenda in 2013. But the real gift | Read More »

    George Allen’s Problem

Today, former Senator George Allen is expected to announce his intention to run against the man who beat him six years ago — Jim Webb. Of course it remains uncertain whether Webb will even run again. I have met George Allen a number of times, like him tremendously, but I have personally decided to support Jamie Radtke for the Senate. Once someone has been beaten, | Read More »

    I Support Jamie Radtke (CAN-R-VA-SEN) In 2012

know I normally keep myself to Florida issues, but this is too good to pass up. Former chairwoman of the Virginia Tea Party Patriot Federation has decided that it is time to retire Democrat Jim Webb.
