    The local television stations broadcast the funeral of Riverside Police Officer Michael Crain — one of the officers whose life was cut short by crazed ex-LAPD officer Christopher Dorner — in its entirety on Wednesday.

    It was stunning. There was more than 8,000 people in attendance, 4,000 of whom were uniformed police officers from around the state and some from out of state. Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and Governor Jerry Brown were also in attendance.

    You want some good news? [Updated]

    Update: It’s 6am in California, and I wake up to see that LA County is still passing Proposition 8 with what CNN calls 100% of precincts in. It’s a very narrow, roughly 22,000 win out of about 2,500,000 votes cast, but as I said, a tie was there enough for it to pass.
