Nancy Pelosi must resign from the House over Bob Filner coverup.
I usually try not to put things that starkly, particularly since a Republican saying that a Democrat needs to resign is going to be (justifiably) taken with a grain of salt, but… this is ridiculous. “I blew the whistle on [Bob Filner's sexual harassment] two years ago to the Democratic Party leadership,” former Assemblywoman Lori Saldaña said. Saldaña said that in summer 2011 six prominent | Read More »
@NancyPelosi is being FAR too modest about her protection of FISA.
I admit, Nancy Pelosi talks a good game about how she hates FISA on general principles: When contacted, a Pelosi aide did not dispute the minority leader’s assertive role in influencing Democrats, but passed along a letter Pelosi sent to the president today raising skepticism about the NSA’s surveillance powers. “Dear Mr. President,” reads the letter. “Although the amendment was defeated 205-217, it is clear | Read More »
Nancy Pelosi’s (@nancypelosi) former colleague Bob Filner.
Apparently Nancy Pelosi doesn’t like it when people point out that fellow CPC founder Bob Filner is a former colleague: House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) may have worked alongside former Rep. Bob Filner (D-Calif.) for 10 years in Congress, but now that he’s facing a string of sexual harassment allegations, she isn’t exactly rising to his defense. During a Thursday roundtable with reporters, Pelosi | Read More »
Organized Labor Gets Made To Obamacare
The Presidential Administration of Barack H. Obama always looks out for the little guy. They strike him center of mass. They then back up the yuppified SUV and run him over several more times. You gotta’ get the job done right to succeed in DC these days.
Now that was just plain cynical. It was also mean. So mean that three of sleaziest leaders of organized

thuggerylabor agree with my assessment. At least they agree with it as applied to the American Affordable Care Act of 2009. Having finally figured out what the right has been telling them for years, these wise men wrote leading minions of Emperor Barack I a missive to plead for a writ of indulgence with respect to the terrible, unworkable, destructive legislation that we all affectionately refer to as Obamacare.
Democrats switching to Republican Party over immigration reform
Even though they haven’t officially changed their party affiliation, some big name Democrats are using the immigration reform issue to defect to the Republican party. No longer concerned about putting another Democrat in the White House when Obama leaves, some of the party’s big guns have already gone on record in support of the Republicans in November, 2016. Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) “I believe that | Read More »
Human assets and liabilities
Grover Norquist of Americans for Tax Reform does not think much of the Heritage Foundation’s recent projection of the total cost of amnesty. Heritage figured a taxpayer cost of about $6 trillion over the next 50 years. Norquist takes many issues with this figure, including some that aren’t really problems with the report itself – for example, he criticizes the way other people have presented its conclusions | Read More »
Hillary Watch 2016: What Difference Does It Make? None, My Dear…None At All
A few days before the May 8th Benghazi whistleblower hearings I heard several liberals spinning Democrat talking points on cable news saying that these House hearings were really about Republicans trying to build roadblocks to Hillary Clinton’s yet to be announced White House run in 2016. Of course I was appalled (but not surprised) that Democrats were trying to link Republicans attempting to learn the truth about an | Read More »
Wage Compression & Job Losses: The Crushing Impact Of A 24% Minimum Wage Hike
To be clear, Obama and the Democrats know precisely what they are doing. It’s not about doing what makes good common sense. Rather, Obama and the Democrats’ push to raise the minimum wage is all about politics.

Nancy Pelosi thinks a pay cut is below her ‘dignity.’
And this is why Nancy Pelosi will STAY House Minority Leader. It’s because of incredibly tin-eared statements like this. House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Thursday that she opposes a cut in congressional pay because it would diminish the dignity of lawmakers’ jobs. “I don’t think we should do it; I think we should respect the work we do,” Pelosi told reporters in the | Read More »
Breaking: Gang of Eight Crafts 7,000 Page (amnesty) Immigration Reform Package
Don’t worry about what’s in it for now. The Senate and House will have to pass it to see what’s in it. (That was the wisdom from on high ala Nancy Pelosi — she promised everyone that that would be the only way they could get the dang thing done and out of the way.) And did you hear about the wonderful new era of | Read More »
Nancy Pelosi comes out strongly for… limiting federal court jurisdiction over the states?
No, really: when asked a question about the debt ceiling/so-called “fiscal cliff” today Nancy Pelosi decided to respond by talking about how she was on the side of the Eleventh Amendment. For those of you who need reminding, that’s the one that limits the ability of federal courts to permit private citizens in one state from suing other states as a whole (they can still | Read More »
No Sacrificial Lamb
Nancy Pelosi has a habit of saying really outlandish things. From “We must pass the bill so you can find out what’s in it,” to her outrage that “500 million Americans” were losing their jobs every month to asking “Are you serious?” about what part of the Constitution authorized the individual mandate, San Fran Nan has really let loose with some amazing gaffes. Pelosi is | Read More »
Who needs a muted, irrelevant President?
As conservatives, we know why we don’t want President Barack Obama in the White House. He is leading this country in the wrong direction. But his completely empty convention speech, when combined two moments described in Bob Woodward’s new book, gave us another prong of attack that is potentially much more devastating. He simply is irrelevant now. Nancy Pelosi put him on mute and Speaker John Boehner and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid kicked Obama out of a meeting he called in the White House.
So here’s the argument. President Obama may be bad. But he’s worse than bad. He’s irrelevant. It is time to elect someone with a vision and a capacity to actually solve — or at least contribute to solutions — to today’s problems. Obama’s convention speech, allergic to any specifics, and nothing more than a recitation of progressive goals and values rather than specific policies to get people there, shows that he will continue to be the irrelevant man in the room if re-elected. Who needs a man who brings nothing to the table other than speechifying, no matter how inspiring it may be to some?

Obama Approval Rate Rather Dismal
How low will they stoop, the Obama Administration that is – Joe Biden sent me another email crying the blues pleading, crawling and begging for $3.00. Joe said, “ in the last two weeks of this month, Romney and his allies had an almost 2:1 spending advantage in Florida, Iowa, New Hampshire, North Carolina, and Virginia — and that could be the election right there.” | Read More »
