Breaking: S.C. Pics Finally Come Out
By: Aaron Gardner (Diary) | June 3rd at 12:00 PM |
Earlier today, while Aaron was combing through his morning emails, one particular email stood out. Folks, Aaron can’t divulge his sources for the picture he was emailed, but he guarantees its authenticity. In the picture you can clearly see Willy Folks, Larry Marchant, Nikki Haley (in the top hat), and Andre Bauer. Clearly there was an inappropriate relationship. Aaron B. Gardner

Get yourself a glass of something nice, first. This is from a candidate forum from earlier in the evening, where Nikki Haley redresses one week’s worth of filthy innuendos in roughly five minutes, at the expense of Lt. Gov Andre Bauer. You should watch the entire thing… See also Hot Air and Ace of Spades. [And here's some useful AmSpec background.] [And check out the | Read More »

By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | June 1st at 01:04 PM |
InsiderAdvantage polled for Statehouse Report the South Carolina primaries for Governor, and while the necessity of a runoff makes the long term future uncertain, the frontrunners in each race are clear: Nikki Haley and Vincent Sheheen.

Without a guilty plea for beating a woman, but with a Devil May Care attitude, RedState.com’s fearless editor, Erick Erickson, endeavoring to write about himself in the third person, though omniscient or limited is still up for grabs, will now proceed to dish out the dough and let the chips fall where they may in the whole sordid affair in South Carolina. Only today did | Read More »
DNC accuses Nikki Haley of having affair.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | May 27th at 11:21 PM |
Anonymously, of course. The next Democratic staffer who has the guts to attack a conservative woman to her face will be the first. The DNC, the political wing of a president who launched his campaign decrying slash-and-burn campaign tactics, is highlighting new stories about a sex scandal rocking a GOP primary. Lynching Nikki Haley
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | May 27th at 10:24 AM |
“They’ve strung up Nikki Haley — skipping the issues, skipping the ethics, skipping experience, and going straight to calling her a whore. But they’ve shown nothing.” It was Clarence Thomas who talked about the high tech lynching the left put him through during his confirmation battle. The left went straight for the pubic hair on the coke can — forget everything about his qualifications, intelligence, | Read More »
The nocturnal excretions of toenail clipping stalkers
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | May 25th at 09:44 PM |
Ben Smith of the Politico called Will Folks “credible” when the “inappropriate physical relationship” story broke. Michael Brendan Doughtery called him “revered” and said “His reputation since leaving the governor’s office has only increased. He has become South Carolina’s essential political blogger.” Like the only two movie critics quoted on a movie scoring 5% at Rotten Tomatoes, those quotes may come back to . . | Read More »
Palin shapes two races
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | May 25th at 05:04 PM |
Having attended a speech of Nikki Haley’s in Atlanta last year, her run for Governor of South Carolina is one I’ve followed. Living here, I’ve also watched the California Senate race. Both situations seemed to be stable: Haley was stuck in fourth, while in California Tom Campbell was staying ahead of second place Carly Fiorina. Then Sarah Palin intervened, and both Haley and Fiorina shot | Read More »

Two minute warning in the California Senate Primary
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | May 25th at 02:03 AM |
Two polls on the California Senate Republican primary caught my attention today. I’ve been holding off posting on this race with my poll analysis hat on, because I wasn’t sure I could trust myself to be even handed enough. But these two polls, coming as they are 15 days before election day, are interesting enough that I have to try. They could hardly be more | Read More »

Join Sarah Palin & RedState in Helping Nikki Haley
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | May 24th at 03:38 PM |
No one cared about Nikki Haley when she was in third place in South Carolina — no one, that is, except RedState and Sarah Palin. Now guess what? Nikki Haley is in first place with a double digit lead over the number two candidate. Rasmussen has her at 11 points up. So what do they do? Palin reaffirms support for Haley, blasts ‘lamestream media’ and ‘laughable’ blogger
By: James Richardson (Diary) | May 24th at 03:21 PM |
Sarah Palin lent her considerable Facebook megaphone in support of South Carolina gubernatorial hopeful Nikki Haley, with whom a prominent Palmetto State blogger alleged today he had an “inappropriate physical relationship” years before. “When Nikki and I held her endorsement rally on the steps of the beautiful and historic South Carolina state house a few weeks ago, I warned her and her family that she | Read More »
It’s a Rule of Nature: Hot Women Don’t Have Affairs With Ugly Poor Guys
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | May 24th at 11:46 AM |
Last week I was tipped off to the panic in the South Carolina House and Senate Republican Caucuses. The leadership had a private meeting to see what could be done to take out Nikki Haley. She spent her years in the legislature fighting the good old boys, even within her own party. She demanded transparency and won. They don’t like her. Well, with Rasmussen now | Read More »
Rasmussen: Nikki Haley vaults to lead.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | May 20th at 10:12 AM |
The word ‘dramatic’ comes to mind: A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of Likely Republican Primary voters shows Haley earning 30% support. She’s followed by State Attorney General Henry McMaster who picks up 19% and Congressman Gresham Barrett with 17%. Lieutenant Governor Andre Bauer captures 12% of the vote.
