The President, Planned Parenthood, and The Black Mass Against Traditional Morality
By: Repair_Man_Jack (Diary) | April 26th at 04:04 PM |
Yes, it has come to this. We hate our unborn children, our national future, our legacy to the world that much. We can threaten furloughs against the poor sods who “push tin” at LaGuardia Airport, but “Planned Parenthood isn’t going anywhere.” At a going rate of 1 million abortions every three years, it’s going to the moon under our current president.
Planned Parenthood could be the ultimate example of one of President Obama’s strongest moral priorities. Despite 42 states having enacted laws to restrict abortion, our president still supports this organization to the tune of over $500M per year. He chastises all those (in 84% of the country) who support these restrictions. He says this about the 84%-ers.
“The fact is, after decades of progress, there’s still those who want to turn back the clock to policies more suited to the 1950s than the 21st Century,” Obama said.

It’s the Messaging, Stupid. It’s the Stupid Messaging.
By: Ben Howe (Diary) | February 6th at 08:45 AM |
As many have already discussed, Karl Rove has launched an organization, the Conservative Victory Group, that purports to work on behalf of conservative candidates to shore up our numbers in Congress and bring our party into the 21st century. Like many others, I viewed this as the political equivalent of declaring war on the grassroots. The New York Times’ Jeff Zeleny set off the fireworks | Read More »
Shooting All The Time
By: TobyToons (Diary) | January 29th at 07:00 AM |

“I go shooting all the time.” Right, because 2nd amendment is about shooting sports and hunting. He just seems like a regular gun loving guy like anyone else, doesn’t he? Remember this one: “I swear to… preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.” Ha! This guys got a million of ‘em.

The President Stands Athwart History Yelling Stop
By: Repair_Man_Jack (Diary) | January 22nd at 12:00 PM |
If you were hoping that the president would set the stage for a grand bargain to restructure America’s entitlement programs and fiscal health for the 21st century, you wouldn’t have found much encouragement.
– David Ignatius (WaPo)
David Ignatius stated the obvious in a very polite and understated manner. The President has hit his high water mark. He won re-election, and has no idea what to do with his power beyond the satiation of the power base that drove his reelection. He can hand out fish-sticks, but he but he won’t teach you how to catch your own. (HT: Moe Lane) * This only reinforces my earlier opinion that Barack Obama is nowhere near as in charge of events as he likes to ask. The man is a prisoner of historical trends and of his choice of supporters.

Argentina – The Deadbeat Wears Prada
By: Repair_Man_Jack (Diary) | January 15th at 11:30 AM |
It kind of makes me sick when the deadbeat wears Prada. Such is the case with Argentinean President Cristina Fernandez. Argentina overwhelmingly voted her in as President and she immediately borrowed vast sums of money. This influx of cash jet-fueled an economic bubble which predictably popped. Then the bills came due for all the money she had borrowed during Argentina’s economic boom.
Rather than paying the piper and facing the obdurate, double-plus unfunny task of cleaning up after her socialism party, Fernandez made like a good Marxist and socialized some of the losses from her own economic mismanagement. Anyone dumb enough to buy Argentinean bonds got stiffed like a co-star in an old Harry Reams film. Argentina defaulted on its debt payments and referred to some of the hedge funds which hold the now worthless Argentinean paper as “vulture funds” because they refused to take a haircut and attempted to make Argentina’s government answer for their behavior in court.

The Emperor’s New Coin

Maybe the Administration took this idea off the table (if that indeed remains the case) because they wanted to avoid a scene like this outside the Federal Reserve Building.

Gun Control: WWJD?
By: Ben Howe (Diary) | January 14th at 10:30 AM |
As the gun control debate rages in America following the abominable events in Newtown, eventually, perhaps inevitably, the media will ask itself, “What would Jesus do?” They’ve done it for years as it relates to wealth redistribution and Obamacare. Obama gave an entire speech about taxes in which he used Jesus for his justification. I’d wager that the tactic is designed to hit God fearing | Read More »

Hitler Gun Ban
By: TobyToons (Diary) | January 12th at 08:00 AM |

“Hitler Gun Ban” seems to be trending as a search term lately. Try the search yourself. Once the results come up, start reading the articles. The ones from liberal bloggers all seem to say the same thing: Hitler did NOT ban guns, he only banned them from Jews and his political enemies.

An Open Letter To President Obama From A Concerned Mother And Grandmother
By: Aaron Gardner (Diary) | December 20th at 02:00 PM |
Dear Mr. President,
I am writing to share with you the sadness I am feeling today in light of all the tragedy and heartbreak we have all felt since last Friday. In fact, I have been feeling this for much longer than that.
My sadness began to swell when I first heard the term “kill Romney” ….

VIDEO: There’s Still Time President Obama
By: Ben Howe (Diary) | November 30th at 12:18 PM |
In 2008, President Obama campaigned on hope and change. He made lofty promises from closing Gitmo to changing the sea levels. At a debate in 2008, in between John McCain obsessively saying “my friends”, we heard a different Barack Obama than teh one we hear today. One that believed we must deal with our entitlement crisis and we must deal with it swiftly. He addressed | Read More »
Our Lord And Savior Emperor Barack I
By: Repair_Man_Jack (Diary) | November 26th at 12:30 PM |
In the Potemkin world of Hollywood, President Barack Obama is held in a level of esteem that good men of ages past would have deemed utterly blasphemous. Jamie Foxx describes him as “Our Lord and Savior.” His political enemies are demonized and ridiculed. “Mitches” don’t really believe anything and are basically all just racist. But to truly see how Emperor Barack I’s act plays, it helps to see how his fellow world-leaders view our own almighty Nobel Peace Prize Winner.
We saw this in Blu-Ray as our Glorious Lightworker went east to conduct his post-election victory tour. It didn’t quite work out as well as he would have hoped. Amerika’s recently reelected Dominus et Deus, Barack H. Obama I, decided he would inaugurate a Trans-Pacific Partnership that would draw South-East Asia closer to the US and further from Communist China. It was almost like we were going back to Vietnam to win more hearts and minds.

The Sandy Show and The Tragedy of NYC
By: Repair_Man_Jack (Diary) | November 2nd at 11:00 AM |
To return to office a narcissistic amateur who seeks to ride this nation’s economy and international esteem to oblivion, like Slim Pickens riding the nuclear bomb to its target at the end of the movie “Dr. Strangelove,” would be disastrous.
(HT: Las Vegas Review Journal)
While Barack Obama preens and acts committed to saving the victims of Sandy in the mode of a heroic Chief Executive, a deeply caring leader, there is another side to the entire Hurricane Sandy aftermath that isn’t hitting the air. Here hungry people dig through a dumpster for a meal. I’m guessing this won’t be on the screen during BHO’s Situation Room Photo-Ops.
