Local area store closes, opens race-baiting door
This past week, while driving my wife to work, and again this morning doing some shopping before I go down to officiate the Big East Track and Field Championships down at the University of Cincinnati, one of the big local stories in the Cincinnati-Metro area is the closing of the Kroger store in the Roselawn community. Now as a conservative/libertarian type that I am, my visceral reaction | Read More »

Michelle Obama: When The Race Card Stalls, Trump With Gender For The Win
Seriously Michelle…SERIOUSLY? Via Drudge we learn that the First Lady believes the current healthcare system is ‘crushing’ women and is, therefore, unacceptable. Apparently, according to the FIRST woman, just being a woman requires that you suffer an undue burden for your family in attending to their collective need for healthcare. President Carter: Racist?
The left has a convenient fall-guy in the president himself. He happens to be black. So when they are cornered with undeniable logic, they reach into their back pocket, pull out he race card, point at the president’s skin, and squeal racism.
On Tuesday, September 15, 2009, former president Jimmy Carter stated that “he thinks” that Representative Joe Wilson’s shout of “You lie!” during Obama’s speech was based on racism. He elaborated, “There is an inherent feeling among many in this country that an African-American should not be president.”
I think that Jimmy is a racist himself. I think he’s an old-school racist who has wrapped himself in the convenient and deceitful wool of a liberal, and that when incidents arise that allow him to express his deeper, truer views in an accusing manner, he lets it fly. He may actually believe that others throughout the country think the way he does. Any true racist would.

You could start the discussion that you so courageously suggest, did | Read More »

Voting – Psychology of the “Bandwagon” effect
The Psychology of “Bandwagon effect” relates, sometimes, in Voting too. You’ve all understood this to some degree, even if you hadn’t thought about it consciously. You’ve seen it in some Presidential Races where the Voting in the Eastern States; a Landslide effect seems to be occurring, which then becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy, some would argue this explains Reagan’s landslides but it goes both ways; which | Read More »

Big Surprise! McCain’s criticism of Obama’s tax plan is racist!
According to Headline News, the Obama campaign’s latest defense against McCain’s charge that Obama’s tax plan is “welfare” is that this line of attack is racist. Looking down from Heaven (or more likely up from another place), even Johnny Cochrane must be impressed with this one.

Hot Air has the story. Jacob Weisberg vs. Reality
Rasmussen points out an interesting factoid. The GOP genuinely caught a break when Barack Obama chose Senator Joseph Biden as his running mate rather than….General Colin Powell. If Barack Obama runs even or slightly better than John McCain in presidential preference polls, Colin Powell beats John McCain the way the Chicago Bears beat the Patriots in Super Bowl XX.
