Tech at Night: Amazon makes peace with CA Dems, Patent “reform” passes, Who’s funding the left?
By: Neil Stevens (Diary) | September 10th at 03:00 AM |
Friday has come and gone at last, and in fact we’re well into Saturday now unfortunately, due to my needing to have covered so much this time. Additionally, at long last it looks like the ongoing saga of California vs Amazon is coming to an end. Amazon had already floated the idea of compromise with the Democrats on their unconstitutional plan to try to bully | Read More »

Possibly Drunk Rutgers Economist Susan Feinberg Whines To Susan Crabtree Who Is Hard Up For A Story
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | July 8th at 04:06 PM |
What happens when a whiney drunk liberal economist runs to a whiney lefty former journalist hard up for a story of something on something to salvage her reputation? You get salacious nonsense like this from Talking Points Memo. Horror of horrors, a possibly drunk and possibly crazy left-wing economist Rutgers named Susan Feinberg, and her husband who she probably calls her partner, saw Representative Paul | Read More »
Is Barack Obama Obfuscating the Cause of the Shutdown?
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | April 7th at 01:11 PM |
“The Democrats are so invested in the right to murder children they’ll let, to use the Democrats’ own rhetoric, old people starve.” The leftwing partisans are in full spin mode now after weeks of privately hoping for a government shutdown (though I have wanted one too). For a taste of the spin, go to Talking Points Memo. According to Talking Points Memo, Barack Obama and | Read More »
Would-be Dearborn Mosque attacker anti-Bush felon.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | February 1st at 09:00 AM |
This story got very quickly overshadowed by world events, but last week police arrested a man allegedly planning to blow up a Dearborn, Michigan mosque with ‘high-end fireworks‘*. Needless to say, the Usual Suspects lined up to try the entire “right-wing violent nut inspired by [INSERT NAME HERE]” gambit – because Obama’s Tucson Speech apparently only applies to other people, not Think Progress and/or Talking | Read More »
Amazing: A View Inside the Josh Marshall Echo Chamber
By: Erick Erickson (Diary) | December 13th at 02:14 PM |
This one just makes me laugh. Josh Marshall, Editor of the left-wing “Talking Points Memo,” writes, “A year ago, no one took seriously the idea that a federal health care mandate was unconstitutional.” Maybe on the left, but on the right it was a fundamental argument. In fact, just before Christmas one year ago, the Senate Republicans voted unanimously that the individual mandate was, in | Read More »
Talking Points Memo denies role in Carnahan firebombing.
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | August 26th at 03:30 PM |
For those not following this story: last week a campaign office of Russ Carnahan* (D, MO-03) was firebombed by an officially unknown assailant. A suspect was arrested and subsequently quickly released. This development, coupled with the odious nature of the attack itself, led to both widespread concern and widespread condemnation among the right-side of the blogosphere (including RedState)… but, curiously, not notably among the left-side. | Read More »
Carnahan firebombing an internal attack?
By: Moe Lane (Diary) | August 25th at 01:00 PM |
Last week RedState noted – and condemned – what was suspected to be a politically-motivated firebombing of a Democratic congressman’s office. In addition to being concerned about the idea of Molotov cocktails being added to American political discourse, we here were also concerned at the media blackout apparently being put on the incident – even though an arrest had been made. There were, of course, | Read More »
