Bob Beckel’s F-Bomb Drop Proves Liberals Struggle with Self-Restraint

Liberal commentator Bob Beckel channeled his inner Joe Biden and let the F-bomb fly during an
episode of the Sean Hannity show earlier this week. The venom in Beckel’s tone
was far more shocking than hearing the curse word uttered on live TV.

Beckel continued a heated debate over the success of the Head Start
program into the commercial break and missed the signal that the show was
back on the air, according to Business Insider. The notoriously outspoken Beckel appeared to
have a hard time comprehending why Hannity was calling on him to apologize and
initially thought the show’s host was joking about his swearing tirade being
heard by viewers.

While Beckel losing his temper at conservative contributor Neil Boortz is the headline-grabbing
aspect of the incident, that is not the intriguing part of the story. As the
profusely sweating Beckel sat unusually quiet in his chair, the other panel
members began a discussion about liberal angst. The guests were correct when
noting liberals have a difficult time abstaining from personal attacks when
disagreeing on an issue.

if only to discover what new depths of illogic, Progressives will sink to. But as is apparent, it gets real old ,real fast.

Just as sewage settles out of suspension in a treatment plant, you only have to ‘look down’ to find Bob’s latest mental itch. ….and he’s got hunnerds of them.

Why does anyone listen to this proven-over-time,chronic loser?didn’ the head up AlGore’s publicity offices in 2000?

Remember Billy Mumy in the Twilight Zone episode where he could change people and things with his mind? When he had done his worst, his parents would beg him to “…wish it away, to the cornfield…!”

Where’s a one-way ticket when you want one?

IMO, they have debased their value and credibility by allowing the likes of people like Beckel a place on the stage. I am not sure what they think they are accomplishing but they have recently added more radicals to give their views regularly and it is making me want to turn them off. Radical liberals should be seen as the enemy that they are and should not be given a platform to spew their propaganda at the rest of us. Just allowing them air time gives them credibility — and they deserve none as far as I am concerned.

with the MSNBC crowd who were becoming disenchanted with them and tuning out.

It’s all about the $$. Always was (I guess)……Fox was started to fill the void for a “conservative” viewpoint and Fox became a smashing success. Now that Murdoch thinks “conservtivism” is becoming “less popular” he’s going to other way.

Still waiting for Fox’s newshare to start the decline. Maybe they already have? They are a solid 3rd right now for prime time, and wasn’t even mentioned for “news” ratings, according to Tue, Apr 10, 2012 5:06 PM EDT:
…..That helped CBS to an easy victory with an average of 10.3 million viewers in prime time (6.4 rating, 11 share). ABC had 7.7 million (5.0, 9), Fox had 6.6 million (4.0, 7), NBC had 5 million (3.2, 5), the CW had 990,000 and ION Television 960,000 (both 0.7, 1).
…NBC’s “Nightly News” topped the evening newscasts with an average of 7.9 million viewers (5.4, 11). ABC’s “World News” was second with 6.8 million (4.7, 10) and the “CBS Evening News” had 5.8 million viewers (4.0, 8).

Just to get someone, anyone to listen to them.

Unfortunately, once Al Gore realizes noone watches his Current TV, I look for some of his people to show up at Fox as well.

You are correct wcp. Beckel (and Juan Williams) are being used more than just foils at round tables. For some reason fox thought republicans would actually take them seriously.

if for no other reason than to expose their idiocy before a larger audience. Face it: if these liberals only go on the likes of MSNBC, they preach to the choir. If they go on a more watched network, they expose their idiocy to a wider audience, prove to conservatives what they already suspected and expose that idiocy to even more “independents.” People are more likely to watch FOX than MSNBC. The bigger the audience, the greater the fool the liberal appears. Throw in some potty-mouth expletives and they are totally exposed. Its a slam dunk. Put a fork in them and turn them over.

To attract Chicago types, they have retained *Shantita Jackson*, Jesse’s famous (???) daughter.
Saw her on Bill’s slot last week. 30 seconds in and my gut was already rumbling. Two minutes in and off, She went.
    Lord, what ARE THEY thinking?

The link you have referred us to is for broadcast networks, in other words they are referencing the Fox Broadcast Channel, not Fox News.

The following link will bring you to the cable ratings. Fox is no. 1 in the cable news ratings.

Ava, you are still ticked off that Fox News (in your estimation) gave short shrift to Governor Perry after his poll numbers tanked. You were engaging in schadenfreude a bit too soon it seems. Fox News Channel does just fine without you I am sure.
