Yes folks, the woman who suggested passing a bill to find out what is in it now wants to inhibit free speech. During a Democratic forum to discuss amending the Constitution earlier this week Pelosi promoted her “clear agenda” to limit free speech of corporations in an effort to control special interest campaign money, according to Hot Air.

As usual, Pelosi is working on a far-left liberal agenda which is anything but transparent. The limits on free speech and political spending would apply to businesses but not unincorporated unions.

Ohio is one of the hot battleground states in the 2012 election. Once again both Democratic and Republican contenders for the White House are courting votes in the Buckeye State. Earlier this week both President Barack Obama and Mitt Romney attempted to persuade Ohioans to cast a ballot in their direction this November. Obama’s charisma will be far less effective this time around. Three years of failed policies, continued unemployment and government waste will not easily be erased from the minds of voters.

Ohio’s 18 electoral votes are up for grabs. Neither candidate should count on party loyalty to turn the state in their favor. Catchy phrases and blaming former President George W. Bush for the nation’s current problems will not coerce enough Ohioans to believe that Obama deserves a second term.

Big Government Bureaucracy Paved the Way fo GSA Abuse

The General Services Administration (GSA) officials and staff appear to be champions at gaming the system and bilking taxpayers out of millions of dollars. Big government bureaucracy allowed the abuse to grow to such substantial levels and to go unchecked for nearly two years. While blame for the improper spending should rest squarely on the shoulders of GSA officials, the Obama administration and Inspector General Brian Miller are not above reproach either. Miller submitted a preliminary report about improper travel expenses at the GSA to the Obama administration in May 2011, according to the Associated Press.Thousands of taxpayer dollars were wasted because Congress was left uniformed.

Although Fox News credits Miller with “blowing the whistle” on excessive agency spending, it took him far too long to put his lips together and blow. During his Capitol Hill hearing testimony earlier this week, he offered as many excuses as he did facts. It has been nearly two years since the now infamous Las Vegas conference and a full report on the investigation has not yet been completed.

Bob Beckel’s F-Bomb Drop Proves Liberals Struggle with Self-Restraint

Liberal commentator Bob Beckel channeled his inner Joe Biden and let the F-bomb fly during an
episode of the Sean Hannity show earlier this week. The venom in Beckel’s tone
was far more shocking than hearing the curse word uttered on live TV.

Beckel continued a heated debate over the success of the Head Start
program into the commercial break and missed the signal that the show was
back on the air, according to Business Insider. The notoriously outspoken Beckel appeared to
have a hard time comprehending why Hannity was calling on him to apologize and
initially thought the show’s host was joking about his swearing tirade being
heard by viewers.

While Beckel losing his temper at conservative contributor Neil Boortz is the headline-grabbing
aspect of the incident, that is not the intriguing part of the story. As the
profusely sweating Beckel sat unusually quiet in his chair, the other panel
members began a discussion about liberal angst. The guests were correct when
noting liberals have a difficult time abstaining from personal attacks when
disagreeing on an issue.

soiree on the taxpayers’ dime landed Neely and his General Services Administration cohorts in
a different kind of hot water this week on Capitol Hill, according to the Washington Post.

Rumor has it the medium hired to entertain the public employees during the Las Vegas conference channeled Thomas Jefferson. After
the thud, thud, thudding of the Founding Father rolling over in his grave
subsided, he sent a warning to all government agencies — the party’s over, the
taxpayers will tolerate no more.

President Obama’s Lavish Vacations are Under Scrutiny Again

President Barack Obama is very adept at side-stepping questions and diverting the
conversation from real issues to partisan rhetoric. Earlier this week Obama sat
down with ABC News St. Louis anchorman Larry Conners to discuss the “Buffett Rule”
and again proved how out of touch he is with the American people. Once the
interview turned to the topic excessive and expensive vacations taken by the
first family, Obama’s entire demeanor changed as he evaded the question,
according to videos clips on The Blaze.

A president deserves to take a vacation with his family. White House travel is always heavily scrutinized and
publicized. The frequent trips create an image of opulence at the expense of the
taxpayers. President Obama’s family vacations and state business trips
should not also be a part of his campaign schedule. Perception is reality in the
political arena. Every time the first family is photographed stepping off Air
Force One, the trip is typically viewed as leisure travel by voters.

Hilary Rosen’s Comments are Offensive to all Stay-at-Home Moms

The stay-at-home mom remarks uttered by misguided Democratic commentator Hilary Rosen on CNN highlights how desperate liberals are to claim that Republicans have waged a war on women. Stay-at-home moms work hard every single day, even if though they do not earn a paycheck. Feminists should be in an uproar over the attack on a woman’s right to make important lifestyle choices,
but they have remained silent on the issue. Rosen’s claims that Ann Romney has no right
to comment on issues she believes are important because she chose to remain at
home with her five children are demeaning.

Making the decision to leave your children in the care of others or to set aside your own aspirations and devote the
maximum amount of time possible to child rearing is the most difficult decision
any mother ever faces. Balancing work and family can be a hardship, but is often
necessary to make ends meet, especially during a rough economy. Professional and
stay-at-home moms should not be pitted against one another.

Camp Pendleton Marine Memorial Crosses Should Stay

Members of the United
States Marine Corps put their lives on the line daily in the Middle East,
they should not have to fight here at home as well. A beautiful memorial erected
by Marines is under attack at Camp Pendleton in California, according to Fox News.

A set of two 13-foot crosses were lovingly carried by
through rocky and steep terrain to reach a remote area of the camp to honor
their fallen brethren. The memorial site was erected in 2003 without
controversy, but due to recent complaints the Military Association of Atheists and
Freethinkers (MAAF)the crosses may have to be moved to private land.

Groups like the MAAF and the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU)
thrive on drama and imposing their will on others. Camp Pendleton recruits were
not forced to worship at the memorial display, so the separation of church and
state argument does not apply.

There is no reason to yank the race card out of the deck and toss it onto the President Barack
Obama and Supreme Court debate table. The stern words of warning Obama uttered last week to the court have
come back to haunt him and MSNBC is once again making excuses for the
commander-in-chief.

During an appearance on ABC’s “This Week” program MSNBC commentator Eric Dyson stated that “only a racist
person” would think that Obama’s statements about the court were bullying, The Blaze reports.

Bring on the clowns. The General Services Administration scandal again proves liberals cannot be
trusted with taxpayer dollars. The federal agency tasked with developing rules other
governmental offices must follow when hosting conferences failed miserably at
policing itself. Although the full details will not be known until the
congressional hearings, the preliminary figures published in the Washington Post are disturbing. In addition to the public funds
wasted for sushi, “preferred” contractor hotel rooms, commemorative coins and staff yearbooks,
GSA staffers also thought it was a good idea to hire clowns and mind readers to entertain the
government employees.

After being appointed to the head of the GSA by President Barack
Obama, Martha Johnson said she would focus on ethics, according to the Washington Post. She
failed miserably and stepped down earlier after the scandal made national
headlines.
