0bama shows his sociopathic tendencies once again. He was bullied when young and now he has immense power and wants revenge (punish your enemies). Look at how he has treated the UK, who he imagines mistreated his father, who in turn took advantage of and lied to and mistreated everyone around him (the nut didn’t fall far from the tree). Look at how barry has treated citizens of our country who have been affected by the disasters, but live in a state that did not vote for his highness. Lost jobs and homes? Broken families? Illness and stress? It’s no problem for 0-baka. He’s got AF1 to take him to play golf and neverending vacays while m00ch fills the WH with par-tays and food. What – me worry?

Now 0bama is being pressured more than his childish psyche can bear. He strikes out at those who are helpless – seniors and veterans, threatening them with loss of income. He enjoyed making those threats to squeeze and hurt people to make them do his bidding, just like a sociopathic bully. He does not care as long as he gets his way. He and the m00ch are peas (word play intended) in a pod. Their hate for the US is unlimited by conscience.

A Real American President in a time of crisis would be reassuring seniors and veterans that he/she will do everything possible to make sure they receive their checks, and then work to fulfill the promise. So much for the decades old propaganda that the D party is the party of the poor and helpless. That it is proven a sham once again, yet they still vote for the party of Destruction shows just how deep the propaganda brainwashing has gone.

If somehow 0bama plays his game and manages to stop or delay seniors and veterans checks, it would be wonderful if conservatives, Tea Partiers and Republicans, along with any D-words that are appalled at what barry is doing, stepped up and made sure that every senior and veteran was cared for. Wouldn’t it be perfect for us to say “See, the petulant child tried to bully us but we aren’t having any of it. We are the people who truly care about this country and we know how to fix it, how to provide an environment that creates jobs. We know how to cut waste and mismanagement. We know how important your health care is to you and we will return the system to you and your health care professional.” Of course the msm will give us nothing but crickets but the message can be pushed out there by our alternative media. Think of the crushing blow to the Democrats! It could be decades before they ever get their hands on the presidency again.

0bama is a vindictive childish cretin for making bullying threats to seniors and veterans.

Frog marching him out of the WH has got to be job #1.

Another sign of the left’s frustration and desperation in trying to block the tsunami expected to wash them out, they have started a new website to try to uncover evidence of racism at Tea Party events. Interesting because they have been charging racism at the Tea Party (and anyone else who dares not agree with the left) for months now, and are finally admitting they have no evidence of their charges. It must be difficult to keep up with their “Big Lie” when it’s not working and there is no proof they can pull out of their . . . hats!

Sponsored by the NAACP, Think Progress, New Left Media and Media Matters (the usual suspects) they are encouraging their followers to go to Tea Party events and photograph/video evidence they so desperately seek. They are also looking for blog entries, t-shirts, ‘gotcha’ interviews and any other straw in the wind they can grasp to show that it isn’t mainstream Americans that support the Tea Party. I dislike giving press to such a website but I submit we must add it to our watch lists – someone has to watch these alleged watchers who are likely to manufacture evidence when no real evidence can be found. (it’s teapartytracker.org).

They say they will “monitor racism and other forms of extremism within the Tea Party movement”. In other words, they don’t suspect, but they think they know they will find something to back up their phony baloney claims. This to me means tricks and gotchas will be liberally (pun very much intended) employed. Insert Mel Brooks’ famous line in Blazing Saddles “gentlemen – we must protect our phony baloney jobs!”. I suppose by using Blazing Saddles, this diary may be among the first to make the tracker! I will note, however, that the movie was released in 1974 and at the time was hailed by almost everyone for its humor and the ridicule it poked at those with bigoted minds.

Of course, if a conservative group monitors any group on the left, you know the smear that would be spread quickly. The reality, ever so variable by those of left-leaning persuasion, is instantly transformed to what the left requires to feed the smoke-and-mirrors machines.

Being in the lead is not an easy job. As the 0bama regime has discovered, a fortune won is easily quickly lost. They wasted their 2008 political inheritance and are now suffering the hangover. Elections do have consequences.

0bama has time to go on The View where all he did was campaign for himself, but then, that’s about all he knows how to do. I doubt if anyone expected anything different to come of it.

Meanwhile back at the ranch, his regime is run by tax cheats, crooks and incompetent morons, but 0bama doesn’t care. His party will be voted out of control of Congress in November but 0bama doesn’t care. 0bama fields softball questions from his small gallery of sycophants while our soldiers die in Afghanistan but he doesn’t care. Millions of people have lost their jobs, their homes and savings but 0bama doesn’t care. Iran and N. Korea are stirring up trouble but 0bama doesn’t care. Our allies are unhappy with us but 0bama doesn’t care. His socialist policies have run up the national debt much faster than Bush ever did, but 0bama doesn’t care. Senior citizens don’t know if they will have health care because of his damage to our health care system, but 0bama doesn’t care. The Boy Scouts celebrate their 100th year and the president is the honorary president of the Scouts – 0bama dumps them to go on this TV show, a missed opportunity to honor a hundred years of history of character building but 0bama doesn’t care. Millions of illegals are in the country flooding our hospitals, committing crimes, soaking up our tax dollar supported socialist programs and taking our jobs while the president of Mexico laughs but 0bama does nothing because he doesn’t care. On the Gulf Coast thousands of people face an uncertain future, but 0bama stole $20B from BP that will never get to those who have suffered losses (the money will go into his slush fund where it will be used to support what is left over from ACORN’s little nuts and the corrupt unions that support him) and 0bama doesn’t care. Hundreds of auto dealerships were forced to close putting thousands people out of work, many on Main Street USA and 0bama doesn’t care.

His party has given us the most corrupt Congressional swamp we’ve ever had, but 0bama doesn’t care. 0bama has displaced Jimmy Carter as the worst president in history, but he isn’t concerned except as it detracts from his legacy.

In spite of all his self-serving rhetoric – which has never solved one single problem in 19 months of his bloviating – 0bama does not care at all about America. He only cares about himself. He’s in love with himself. He does like being president, working on his golf game, having a hamburger with the Russian president, issuing nonessential apologies to the world and taking lots of vacations at taxpayer expense while millions are out of work. The phrase “I won’t rest” is now a national joke while 0bama’s cabinet lives in mortal fear of Glen Beck. 0bama can’t or won’t make decisions and when he does they are the wrong decisions, so he blames everyone else in a futile attempt to cover his own blunders. 0bama cannot be trusted to tell the truth, but again he is indifferent.

0bama has helped his own party less than he has helped revitalize the Republican Party. If the Democrats were really as smart as they think they are, they would wake up and join the Republicans in a real bipartisan reform to impeach 0bama and remove him from office, repeal the economic disasters of the health care and financial bills, secure our borders and begin to resolve the illegal immigration problems, and get our country on the road to real economic recovery.
Woof!

When this “pass it first” | Read More »

was a commercial message many years ago to sell something unmemorable, but there is something very wrong going on when Congress can’t fully explain a bill, instead telling us it has to be enacted for us to see what it is. The time to ensure legislation is written properly to achieve its objective is before it is enacted, not after.

When this “pass it first” gambit is proclaimed, they are telling us in effect that the proposed legislation is (choose at least one):
A) Poorly crafted (incompetence)
B) Contains law that has to be kept hidden from the public until it is too late (the wool over the sheeple’s eyes gambit)
C) Something that must be accepted because the elites have decided this is the way it should be (try to say something nice and don’t be a smart*ss)
D) All of the above (most often the correct answer).

There is no other logical explanation for using “pass it first” as a sales tactic to pass legislation. I charge any congresscritter using this tactic to be an incompetent cowardly elitist, and that’s just for starters.

I suppose the claimed transparency words of the 0bama regime have already been shot to shreds by its actions, but I’ll hit it once more by pointing out their lying charade of transparency is transparent to everyone but themselves. Or that it’s not a charade, it is deliberate.

Yesterday, Peter Beinart writes in The Daily Beast, extolling the Dodd/Frank bill under the title “0bama’s Unbelievable Winning Streak” (I’ll agree with the unbelievable part):

“One can argue about whether the bill the Senate passed will truly change the way Wall Street operates. but off the top of your head, can you name a more significant piece of progressive legislation signed by either of the last two Democratic Presidents?” Then he goes on to say “And that goes for 0bama’s stimulus package and his health care reform as well”.

Wow! He first admits that there is doubt about whether the bill will make any difference or not, then has the audacity to claim it is a significant piece of legislation? He’s saying it might not work but it’s a BFD? Here’s a guy who should be warned not to drink his own bathwater, it’s affecting his brain connections in a serious way.

This reinforces how their actual tactics were developed during the health care debate when some on the left stated in its defense that a “bad bill is better than no bill” which if you examine it critically is just as illogical a selling gambit as “try it you’ll like it”. The left believes that enacting legislation that is focused and constitutional is less important than passing fuzzy-wuzzy legislation that shackles our economy and industry to force compliance and/or takeover solely to press the far left agenda on the country. Doesn’t matter if it’s good, or if it will work, or if the citizens even want it, the left has a single-mindedness that progressive policy must prevail. Losing the Congressional majority is worth it if it expands government intrusion into every corner of our existence, proven by Beinart’s statement that “even as the Republicans claim political momentum, the country is in the midst of a major shift leftward when it comes to the role of government”. What is an inconvenient truth is the approval ratings in the tank for 0bama and Congress because of their back room shady dealings to get the leftward legislation passed, because they know if they were honest about it up front people would be in the streets with torches and pitchforks. But it does illustrate to conservatives that we are dealing with zealots, not pragmatists and our long term strategy must develop accordingly.

Beinart goes on to tell us that everything else 0bama has touched has turned to gold, and that “the Tea Party movement may be a sign of 0bama’s weakened position, but in policy terms, it is a testament to his success.” We are getting into Orwellian prophecy here where we are told the regime’s failure is its success. That’s quite a spin but the left has little else to use to try to weasel their way into a positive appearance. The takeaway on this is that they simply don’t care as long as they get to push leftward.

The lesson I see in this is that we need the same single-mindedness to push back the “major shift leftward”. As Frum points out, it wasn’t a Republican win to pick up seats in 1966 after LBJ got Medicare passed. There’s the point – by winning in 2010 and 2012, in history it won’t be a win for conservatives if 0bamacare is still the law of the land, and “too big to fail” is still welded into law, if our auto industry must kneel to an unelected and unconfirmed czar, and the failed mainstream media is kept on life support by transfers from new media, or that the internet can still be shut down by a president who declares a false emergency to halt any debate contrary to progressive policies.

Winning isn’t everything and in some ways it isn’t even the only thing. Winning control and doing nothing is worse (i.e. more painful) than losing. We can’t be like the dog that finally catches the car and wonders “now what the heck am I gonna do with this thing?” (dog reference intentional). The Really Big Deal is to ensure that winning does have consequences for the progressive agenda and their back room perpetrators that have pushed the country in the wrong direction against the will of its citizens.

Several days ago Bobby Jindal ordered barges out into the Gulf to vacuum some of the crude oil from Louisiana’s coastal waters. By all accounts I’ve seen, it was working pretty well. They weren’t getting it all but they were becoming quite effective and it may take many small efforts to get the spilled oil under control and removed.

According to ABC News “Sixteen barges sat stationary today (6/16), although they were sucking up thousands of gallons of BP’s oil as of Tuesday (6/15). Workers in hazmat suits and gas masks pumped the oil out of the Louisiana waters and into steel tanks. It was a homegrown idea that seemed to be effective at collecting the thick gunk.” But the Coast Guard ordered them to stop.

So why stop?

“The Coast Guard came and shut them down,” Jindal said. “You got men on the barges in the oil, and they have been told by the Coast Guard, ‘Cease and desist. Stop sucking up that oil.’”

A Coast Guard representative told ABC News that it shares the same goal as the governor.

“We are all in this together. The enemy is the oil,” said Coast Guard Lt. Cmdr. Dan Lauer.

adsonar_placementId=1280609;adsonar_pid=59750;adsonar_ps=-1;adsonar_zw=165;adsonar_zh=220;adsonar_jv=’ads.adsonar.com’;

“But the Coast Guard ordered the stoppage because of reasons that Jindal found frustrating. The Coast Guard needed to confirm that there were fire extinguishers and life vests on board, and then it had trouble contacting the people who built the barges.”

The barges sat idle for 24 hours, with Jindal’s calls to Washington going unanswered. Finally on Thursday they were allowed to start again.

To check that fire extinguishers and life jackets were on board? I have a lot of respect for the Coasties and I’m sure one of them would have just boarded the barges and visually inspected for fire extinguishers and life jackets. Not a difficult thing to do, CG does it all the time. So the orders to stop vacuuming up oil must have come from far up the chain, and I can’t even imagine a responsible high-ranking CG officer to allow himself to be set up for stupid. They’re not. It would have to be someone who could order the CG to stop the vacuuming barges.

Along with several other bits of evidence, like refusing help in the first days after the spill started and other smoking guns, to me this points to the fact that someone high up in this administration does not want the oil spill cleaned up very quickly. This has ‘stupid’ written all over it.

Are they taking a crisis and prolonging it to squeeze more and more out of it so 0bama can wail some more for his cap and trade agenda? I’d like to see this bit of silliness investigated, going as high up the ladder until the buck stops. But with the 0bama regime and the current ruling class in the Congress, this investigation would get stonewalled and go nowhere. I can only hope that this will be added to the list I saw here several weeks ago of interesting things for the next Congress to investigate. This highlights the necessity to get a good strong class of conservatives in Congress instead of the wilting flowers and wannabe Dems that are afraid to get in there and look in the dark corners and find the monsters. I know we have some that will – but we need to get them some reinforcements.

It is painfully obvious even without the use of a tinfoil hat with antennae that 0bama has been the beneficiary of some powerful back room string pulling. Exactly what that power is we can endlessly speculate but it has been obscured and will make fascinating reading some day, if we don’t wind up in a totalitarian state where history is carefully rewritten in soft baa’s for the sheep.

But are the occupants of the smoke filled room pleased with what they have wrought to date? To some extent they might be, but probably think that things should have been better (from their viewpoint) by now. They can’t be very happy with the problems the Democrats are now faced with to stay in power. I understand how some academic may think up a complicated plan to “fall behind” and then “slingshot” back to the top. These complicated plans are also risky plans when there are so many uncontrollable variables, especially variables they feel should have under control by now. I postulate that the back room denizens are not happy that they can’t hang up a big “Mission Accomplished” banner and pass out cigars. Their first four years of the expected 40 years of the country wandering through the leftist desert are not going according to plan. I can’t believe they are pleased with 0bama’s performance – even if he was just following the pulls on his strings. A scapegoat may be required along with a realignment to head fake the public to cover the direction they intend to keep a wary voter populace moving.

Their questions are likely similar to the ones that I have read with rapt attention in diaries here: Can 0bama govern, or if I may re-phrase ‘how long will 0bama be allowed to pretend to govern’? I’m not saying he’s governing, just that from their view is the horse going lame and would they be better off changing horses? Yes, even in midstream – if the horse can’t swim. Big money and big power demand results and they don’t like cleaning up unwieldy messes all the time, or hear the thundering clang of the door to failure.

Their decision has not been made yet and probably can’t be made until the morning after November 2, 2010. Somewhere in that smoke filled back room (they actually had those in Mayor Richard J. Daley’s day in Chicago), the puppetmasters behind Comrade 0bama’s rapid ascendancy and equally spiraling descent are likely having this discussion from their viewpoint. Should they kick 0 to the curb, risking the riots that Al and the black caucus would subtly (or not) threaten? Or would the puppetmasters understand that the black vote may kick and scream real loud and may even require National Guard action for awhile but who are they going to vote for when the shouting dies down? If they believe Bill claim has legitimate claim to the title of being the ‘first black president’ and he’s one of the people in the smoke filled back room – or has a strong representative in there – he may send the message that he can pour oil on the troubled waters if HRC is plugged in to replace a failing 0bama regime unable to accomplish anything for its remaining (originally planned) six years. There may be other black leaders to help – Rev. Wright says he has bus tire tracks on his back, Jesse who once voiced that he would neuter 0bama.

The Chicago mob (apologies to the real Chicago Mob) of Rahmbo and others will make a lot of noise but their future isn’t welded to 0bama’s, it’s only Velcro’d and they can be bought in the Chicago fashion with offers of jobs. I’d nominate Rahmbo to be the shower attendant in the Capitol Congressional shower rooms, handing out soap and towels and mopping the floors. But I digress. BHO might be penciled in for the next Supremes opening.

How many times have the Clintons been written off politically – and are we about to see their phoenix rise yet again? Yes, they make mistakes like being unprepared for the string-pullers giving the nod to 0bama. I’ve still figured the Clintons to be watching carefully and patiently for their moment to pounce and they may even be surprised to be able to think about it so quickly – or maybe they knew and predicted it, or helped to engineer it the way it turned out. Whether we might think it’s the right thing for them to do or not, they have their own lens through which they see. They will carefully explore and evaluate every bit of data available through it. We can speculate – it is both fun and necessary to do so – about what the powers that be will do, but unless we know their measurement criteria and timeline is, we cannot conclusively determine what they will do.

Even if the likelihood seems low, we should not discount HRC’s ambitions and feeling of entitlement for the top job. I second what has been said here on several comments, that HRC is even more dangerous than 0bama but can be defeated (even with Bill turning on all his charm) but she will be harder to beat than a seriously weakened 0bama presidency. I agree with many here who say our priority is to keep our focus on November but here and the conservative leadership must strategize about the possibilities that may jump on us shortly thereafter.

Obama said this morning “in the 21st century we are not defined by our borders”.

If the POTUS refuses to defend our country, when can we begin the impeachment process? Oh yeah, with the current Dem Congress that goes nowhere.

We have ourselves a big steaming bowl of Not Good. Let’s redouble, re-triple our efforts to defeat every possible Democrat in Congress in November so we can slow down this arrogant and incompetent clown. There’s not a moment to lose.

Howard Fineman wrote in Newsweek: At a fundraiser in New York this week, Obama previewed the two lines of anti-Republican attack. One is historical. “After they drove the car into the ditch, made it as difficult as possible to pull it back, now they want the keys back,” Obama said of the GOP. ‘”No! You can’t drive. We don’t want to have to go back into the ditch. We just got the car out.”

While Obama gave his lecture in his usual petulant manner, someone should have pointed out that the car had been maintained since 2006 in the Democrat garage managed by Pelosi, Reid, Barney Frank, and his own self Barry Obama, and in fact one or all of them have been guilty of incompetence, negligence and deliberate sabotage. The car was headed for the ditch no matter who drove it, and the repair bill they had run up was truly outrageous even by the standards of the sleaziest third world socialist auto repair shop. They broke things that didn’t need fixing! Then Barry went around apologizing to the rest of the world about what a wreck our car was.

Since the Democrat repair shop is sliding towards financial collapse, corruption and moral bankruptcy, today the car’s owners (the voters) will take the first steps to send the car to the Republican shop to repair the Democrat incompetence and sabotage. In 2012 we will take the keys away from Obama, drop him off in Chicago, and hire a proper conservative chauffeur who knows the roads and appreciates a fine motorcar. “See the USA with a conservative” we will sing as we motor across the country, seeing new American businesses and investment bring back jobs and prosperity to Main Street. Maybe we can even pry our auto industry back from the hands of government bureaucrats who know nothing about automobiles.

Hopefully the car will have a rumbleseat and we can have Pelosi sit back there and scream and hold on for dear life all by herself. Don’t hit the brakes too hard – she’ll get Botox all over the outside of the rear window! Beep Beep!

It appears the MSM is becoming more shrill and obvious (if that’s possible) with their support of Obama and the Democrat left. Even though they are unsettled with the Obama administration’s increasingly going direct to the public they will continue to support Obama and his minions with every spin they can muster.

We see Obama and his water carriers Holder, Geithner, Napolitano, Sebelius, Reid, Pelosi et al constantly getting a pass on their incompetence and ideological blindness, while every opportunity to insult Tea Partiers and conservatives is taken with enthusiasm and there’s no innuendo or false accusation left behind.

Meanwhile, MSM market share and ratings continue to decline and they can’t seem to be able to figure out why. They blame everyone else – but the answer is right in the mirror in front of themselves.

The answer is the MSM has forgotten who their real customer is. They act like their customer is the Obama administration. But it’s not – it is the people on Main Street who buy the newspapers, decide which news broadcast to watch, which news magazine to subscribe. That’s who the customer is, and where the money comes from. Yes, I know it’s the advertising buyers that provide the money, but the ad rates are supported by the ratings and the newspapers and magazines sold.

This is something that is obvious to any small business owner, every salesman, everyone who has to depend on the customer returning to purchase again. You have to supply what the customer wants to be able to stay in business. And the customer doesn’t want government syrup poured over everything – which is true regardless of the administration in power, left, right or center. The customer wants the news, presented complete, not the freshman journalism school student level of product being offered. Yes there is also an appetite for editorializing, but in the MSM there is no clear line drawn between opinion and news. That’s intellectual fakery, the customers know it and they are tuning out. And although there are some customers that like it as it is, in reality they are just a noisy minority.

The MSM acts as if making Obama and the Democrats happy is their ultimate goal in life and their customers should be happy with what they get. Of course Obama’s not going to lecture them otherwise. So the MSM pays no attention to their real customer and in doing so they are cooking themselves up a big steaming bowl of No Good.

The MSM was a valuable Obama ally in 2008, covering up Obama mishaps and (what should have been) clues, all the while pressing an overwhelming attack/smear front that made the McCain/Palin camp feel like the 7th Cavalry at Little Big Horn.

This should be no surprise, as the MSM has been the private lap dancers for the Democrat left for many years. But recently the MSM has been nervous about the Obama administration controlling the news by going direct to the public. At MSNBC, Andrea Mitchell commented that the WH is “crossing a number of lines here” by going around the MSM and direct to the public. Gibbs, et al, are turning to Twitter, YouTube and other social networking outlets. The MSM also knows that this administration will selectively close them out of events without advance notice or explanation. The Obama crowd is clearly excited about getting their spin out there without using a media filter, even a slobbering, hero worshipping co-dependent filter. Combine that with Obama’s knee-jerk fear of any news or commentary that is not favorable to him and the MSM should be concerned.

The Obamanites also see that MSM readership/viewers has been on a downward slide similar to the “American jobs lost” graph. Much of this is because Americans fully understand that the news isn’t really the “news” any more, it is editorial hit pieces wrapped up as current events, while at the same time we are becoming more attuned to internet news, blogs, videos, etc. BTW, as a side note, the decline of newsprint in your recycling bin is becoming a problem for toilet paper manufacturers, as they use it in their product. I will leave the puns and jokes to the reader’s imagination.

The Obama herd has figured out that trying to get their spin going quickly through the MSM isn’t working as well as it used to. The new media is tailor-made for an administration that doesn’t want anyone looking too hard at the news flowing from the tap. You know, like trying to verify almost anything Obama says is the truth.

So now the MSM has a problem. They can’t turn against Obama or the left – they won’t become conservatives overnight. That’s something that will take a revolution at the journalism schools. But the MSM is being scorned by their former lover. What to do?

They should have known that’s the way it is with socialists. They will flirt, charm, tell you how wonderful it will be (USSR, the workers paradise, or 30 million people will now get health insurance, etc.). So the MSM falls for it and gets in bed with the Obama campaign. Now they are waking up hung over, tied to the bed, abused, wallet missing, their lover long gone in search of other easy victims. What to do, indeed!
